perfection! :D DD I wish i could look like that when i m her age. Great sence of style too.

  2. morticia | 24/12/10

she’s very long and lean! impressive…i’m sure that’s real fur, if she’s in Aspen, i think it’s one of those places where it’s still very fashionable to wear real fur…sad!!!!

  3. SCU | 24/12/10

Her look never changes… she has looked the same for 20 years! I don’t care for her two toned hair and I think she’d look a lot better if she went light to medium brown (her natural color) and got a cute shorter cut.

  4. happyvegetarian | 24/12/10

The jacket is hideous, the boots are hideous. Her legs are nice though.

  5. msp | 24/12/10

Might be time to hang up the ol’ hair extensions…..that is one busted weave……

  6. glj | 24/12/10

she doesn’t look very “supermodely” anymore. not even rating her legs these days
    good for her age though

  7. connieculkins | 24/12/10

Those with apple body types always wear the bulky tops and tight leggings..All my friends with that body type wear shorts even in winter to highlight the skinny legs.

  8. Kitsune | 24/12/10

The fur is disgusting. Drop it Elle!

What kind of cruel person thinks it’s great to troll around wearing dead animals?!

  9. nnn | 24/12/10

    Looks great!

  10. clark kent | 25/12/10

i cannot gush over her like the rest of you girls. not my fave body type. but great hair when she brushes it.

  11. Lisa S. | 25/12/10

@morticia The fur looks fake. In Russia you need to wear fur during winter to survive at -40C/F all the synthetic ones break and people freeze to death.

  12. RubyTuesday | 25/12/10

lol I can’t believe ppl are ranting about how she is not skinny enough!
she is very very very skinny but fit and sexy still. how old is she? her body s far more fitter than most of the young skinny celebs. their skinny is unhealthy, not fit (skinny fat), and sickly.

  13. Afan | 26/12/10

She is gorgeous, she blows away most 20 year olds on this site. Love her jacket.

  14. Mickey von Dutch | 26/12/10

Bodywise she looks amazing, FOR ANY AGE. It’s her hair that does not agree with her. A shorter do would have more instant facial rejuvenation results than any amount of Botox could ever have. Off with that horse’s mane!

  15. beyonceforever | 26/12/10

She’s gorgeous! lovely legs! I wish I had an apple-shaped body just like her!!!

  16. Emily | 26/12/10

There are far more effective clothes nowadays than fur, or at the very leat as effective as. It’s been -30C here for a while now and i’ve been managing just find with very regular winter clothing, not even those designed for “extreme weathers” or the sorts. Sorry, i just hate the fur industry. Ellen looks nice. Casual, pretty.

  17. Mollie | 26/12/10

At 47 she still looks incredible. I would be happy if I aged even half as well as she has. Amazing!!

  18. HB | 26/12/10

I really like the way she looks. I mean, I can’t stand people whose highlights have grown out and now start at their chins, but I love her long, full mane, especially with her fit body. Funny how supermodel bodies today compare to the awesomely fit bodies of 80’s/90’s models, like Elle, Paulina Porzkova, or Christie Brinkley.

  19. Elenne | 26/12/10

she has a good body, but lacks style and personality. also too much facial surgery – no idea why no one ever mentions it, she looks so unnatural

  20. anabanana | 26/12/10

Looks like Aspen could use some snow!

How can you tell if it’s fake fur or not? To me the boots look like they could be fake but the jacket looks real. And Elle looks good.

  21. Matilda | 26/12/10

Time to update the old hair … High time!

  22. sietz | 26/12/10

    She looks fab…as always.
athough not a fan of the two-toned hair. what’s up with that?

  23. Meli | 26/12/10

The fur looks real to me, but just so you know..Aspen isn’t THAT cold. You certainly don’t need fur if you are wearing your jacket open like that. THis is purely for style, of course. She looks like she is trying to fit in with the 20 somethings.

  24. Kianna | 27/12/10

At least we get to see her doing something other than picking up or dropping off her kids for school!
Usually when we get to see her…that is what she is doing! She looks good. I agree w/others that she could change up her hair style just a bit! Isn’t she in her early 40’s?? Could google it I suppose?!!? Think that she still looks thin (not emaciated thin like so many of the skinny Hollywood celebs do in the past few years)..but still thin! Today in order to “qualify” to be thin…it seems you need to be emaciated looking!

  25. Jenn | 28/12/10

If you look up the type of boot, “Sorel Joan of the Arctic” the fur is fake. So, for those making assumptions about fur and freaking out can rest easy. By the way, for 40… she looks fabulous.

  26. pleasediagree | 28/12/10

i always feel a sense of familiarity when i see that insane face of her with shades(love it sans shades)

and now i have got it: she looks like jack nickelson meets jim carrey!

  27. Petal | 29/12/10

    She looks great. Pretty smile.

  28. beyonceforever | 30/12/10

I was wondering is this her natural body type or she has achieved it with dieting and much exercising?

  29. gaby | 30/12/10

    boots are by sorel

  30. Matilda | 30/12/10

I’m so bored with her. She needs to do something with her hair. Sorry, I’m biased as I just can’t stand this woman.

  31. JR | 30/12/10

Good to see Elle wearing natural, renewable and recyclable fur and ignoring the mass idiocy of the animal protest industry weenies.
    Keep it real!

  32. Gemminator | 2/01/11

I think the jacket is hideous whether it’s real fur or not, and matching the trim to the trim on the boots is tacky.

Most people who are anti-fur are just following the ever-changing demands for political correctness. The jacket appears to be made of leather – why aren’t you harping on that? Is it only little, furry cute animals that get your sympathy? Being anti-fur is such a spoiled western concept that people adopt without even thinking it through. If you want to be anti-fur, you’ve got to be anti-leather as well. And a vegetarian. Almost all rabbit fur nowadays comes from rabbits that are used for food, the furs of which would otherwise be thrown out. And rabbits reproduce like – well, rabbits.

Of course, hunting endangered animals is wrong, but you don’t know what type of fur she’s wearing (assuming it’s real).

  33. Jade | 6/01/11

I think she’s overrated. Sure, she looks good for her age, but it’s always the same. Those long locks don’t suit her at all anymore (especially the bleached length) and the jacket is way too bulky because of the fur. Without it, it might actually look good instead of ridiculous. (Don’t mistake this for an anti fur rant, because it’s not). The boots look awful as well. She comes across as someone who still tries to keep up with the young crowd while we can all tell those years are far behind her.
