Very surprised by these photos. In clothing she looks sooooo tiny in the waist area….here she just looks average to thick. Just goes to show how important foundation garments are and not everything we see on the red carpet or in pictures is the real thing. Smoke and mirrors.
That being said…she does look healthy
she looks so fantastic in clothing….in a bikini, not so much. i’m sure having a baby at 41 was hard on her body.
Is she a toothpick? No. Is she fat? No. She is beautiful, famous, has an adorable daughter, and is married to a billionaire. I think I could live with her body if I had that life.

She is slim, look at the second shot! Completely slim and curvy. Although, her legs are making her look bigger since they are like gymnast legs. And she did just have a baby three years ago at the age of 41!

When I saw these photos I thought IDEAL BODY–curvy, nice tush and slim. The comments here though are disheartening. People are commenting as if she is obese “but at least she has a millionaire boyfriend…”. Superficial and shallow, geez give this hot mama a break. I prefer this body any day over a twig nicole richie type.

Oh my, no bueno. That’s a gorgeous suit, but she only looks good from the waist up. Her bottom half is too heavy.
She is curvy and blessed w/ a tiny waist, big boobs, and a healthy booty! If she is like the rest of us, she might have gained some weight over the holidays. Maybe she’s just enjoying herself and not obsessing unhealthily over food and exercise! The swimsuit cuts into her and creates “love handles” where there probably usually aren’t any.
I thinks she looks gorgeous and curvy… there’s nothing wrong with hips.
I would love to know her workout routine. She is in fantastic shape and looks very healthy!

Well, I AM her age, and I think she looks great. It is much, much harder to stay in shape after age 40. I always thought it was an exaggeration, until I arrived here! Is her skin and muscle tone going to be the same as a woman half her age? No. It’s just not possible. She is making the best of what she has – she has a flat abdomen, strong legs and arms and looks to be at a healthy weight for her frame. Good for her!!
Many mature adult’s priorities change after a certain age anyway. It really does become less about how you look, and more about loving the life that you have, and cherishing your family and friends. My cellulite-free days are gone, but it doesn’t seem to matter so much anymore. I eat well, I exercise a few times a week and I laugh a lot (even more than when I was in my twenties). Hopefully Salma is experiencing the same thing.
Are you people delirious? I may need to get my eyes checked, but I don’t see anything ‘big’ about her thighs. Thighs that aren’t toothpicks do not equate to large thighs.

Hayek and her mini-me look beyond cute together. Sure Selma is no runway model, and my guess is that her daughter won’t be either. But just like Penelope Cruz and Monica Bellucci, to name some, she oozes real sex-appeal. Not the kind that was ordered from Dr. 90210. Her body looks AWESOME to me. She’s 5′2″ like me, and looks about one dress size bigger – i.e., a 2. We have very similar builds. Kim Kardashian, also 5′2″, has cited 2 as her dress size & doesn’t look too far off from this in a bikini.

I think I’m looking at different photos to most people here.
Selma looks AMAZING. She has boobs, a waist, and hips. She’s not fat, she’s actually curvy. Yes she might enhance that with under garments when she’s on the red carpet, but that doesn’t take away from the fact she has a good body.
Hmmm, well she’s definitely NOT big. You can tell she exercises, and her skin looks pretty good even in unflattering bright sunlight. That said, I do not like how she looks. Unfair as it is, I think many petite women have to work extra hard to look in proportion, so something that would not even be noticed on a taller girl is being labeled big/thick waist/heavy legs by posters here. I guarantee you that Bar Refaeli in the recent post is proportionally as “heavy” as Salma in the waist and thighs, but her longer frame makes her shape look more aesthetically pleasing. I guess people don’t realize just how tiny the majority of actresses, who are petite, have to be. So in these pics Salma is prolly under the weight of 115-120 that one commenter mentions as her usual weight…

First of all, she is not fat. Or even “big”. By any means. It’s absolutely pathetic that our society considers THIS to be “big”. She’s a 40-something year old mother and she looks amazing. She may not be your personal aesthetic but you really can’t deny that the woman is in good shape. I absolutely pity anyone who thinks she isn’t as your mind is absolutely twisted.
Second, stop trying to put a weight to her frame. Everyone carries weight differently. I’m 5′2 and weigh 112 but frequently get accused of “weighing under 100 pounds”. There’s no possible way you can look at someone and appropriately guess their weight (unless it’s just a good guess) so just stop trying.
Third, women should stop demeaning each other and criticizing other womens bodies. Perhaps, if we learned to do this, next generation won’t be dealing with such horrible self esteem issues.

Um…I never said “at least” she has a billionaire, as to say there is anything wrong with her body. I was pointing out what a great life she has. I said she is beautiful. Some of you need to learn how to read. Oh, and I’m not a golddigger…I happen to have plenty of my own cash, thank you very much (not that my financial situation is any of your business.)

USAUSA: A size 2 usually means around a 32″ bust, 25″ waist and 34/35″ hips.
Salma Hayek: 36-25-37
Kim Kardashian: 35-26-39
So neither are technically a size 2 (despite their small waists). Having curves takes them up a couple of sizes, but there is certainly nothing wrong with that!

I think she looks pretty good here. Not in fighting shape by ANY means, but not bad at all for someone over 40 and who recently had a baby. I wish she had chosen a better swimsuit though. Her bottoms look too small. She would have looked HOT in one those “mono-kinis” (a one-piece with a bunch of cut-outs) in black or an electric blue.

I bet you 75% of the people posting here don’t look half as good in a swimsuit or bikini. Like stu and happy vegetarian. For her age or any age, she looks great. She is the one that has to be happy with her body. And by her wearing a bikini shows that she is. I’d liked to see you guys put up some pictures of yourselves in a swimsuit. You wouldn’t have the courage to do it and have people rate you.
