Too much make up! Why?

her hair looks fug
I don’t know why but I no longer find her that attractive. She has aged a lot recently and her hair is disgusting. I know this sounds bad but I prefer her when she is thinner.
I can’t get over this hair and makeup. It makes her look 30 years older. Why do it?
This look is just awful on her..

I’m quite surprised by the negative comments. My first impression was: she looks like a 1930s slapper and I like it! It’s original and she’s made an effort to look different. Good for her.

the hair is working HARD against (bad!) her face/facial shape!!…not a good look from the neck up…the eye make up is terrible as well….i’m ok with the dress though…her hair looks terribly dirty/oily…just wrong!!!
I like the idea of the hair, not sure how I feel about how it’s actually looking. Something is a little off. Maybe the makeup? Her eyes are her prettiest feature, and I like her hair color.

I think she was probably trying to look like a FLAPPER girl, hopefully not a slapper! (In Australia, a slapper is one of those wild drunken girls)
I love the dress and clutch and she really does have the right hair texture for a look like that, but the makeup is awful.
UGH I can’t get over it. Who would do a grey smokey eye (barely even smokey actually, blending job is terrible) that bold on someone with golden brown eyes and gold-toned hair??? It makes her hair colour look incredibly brassy. BAD makeup artist, BAD.
I like this look, too. It is very flapper style. Also, it’s different from her usual look. Kudos to her for changing it up.
I think her foundation may have been a tad too light for her skin tone and the hairstyle doesn’t seem to suit her well… I’ve always been a fan of her figure though.
The hair makes her neck appear very short, which looks odd. I don’t know; I usually like this hair on people, but it’s not working for her.

The Charleston hair works like an aging accelerator on her. Hippy chique is definitely more her look. I’m happy to see that she’s enjoying food again, though. Especially since so many young women look up to her as a role model.
Her hairdo really isn’t flattering. Her style was so much better 5 years ago, she used to be one of my favorites!
The lack of eyebrows majorly works against her.
Eek!- her hair! Lovely skin though. And the hair can be washed. It’s just for a night, good for her for not being afraid to try something new.
Other than the styling she looks good, and no matter what she has a great personality and an adorable daughter. (Not sure what the Sparrow looks like.)
I sort of like Nicole here. Know she was going for “retro flapper” look but she does NOT pull it off as well as she pulls off her hippie look. She is pretty but seems to going a bit downhill “style-wise” lately. Maybe b/c she’s a mom and doesn’t put as much effort into fashion attire & make-up??? Don’t know.
she is a true beauty..i can´t think of any other celeb that could pull off this look..and many other looks too(the hippie,all of her retro looks,her glam style,her pregnancy style..),she just manages to look effortlessly,classy and very feminine(no matter what size she is)i find her a fashion icon really and i really do like these pics too
Sack the make-up artist. The panda style eyes do Nicole no favour. They make her look about 15 years older than she is. I’m also not keen on her hair, which also adds years to her.
Think that my comment got lost (my computer shut down in the middle!)! Anyhow, I don’t think that Nicole pulls off the “retro flapper look” as well as she does her hippie look. However, she does need to find a different stylist. Rachel Zoe would be good EXCEPT we don’t want Nicole going “skeletal” on us any more! I wonder (since she looks a bit heavier) IF she may be pregnant again???
Good thing is she is not as scrawny as she once was. But she looks a lot older now. More importantly she seems to be happy. Hope she and Joel have a prosperous and long married life.

Dress overwhelms her, she needs more height to pull it off. I like the hair (style, not colour) and make-up, although I think her eyebrows look a bit wild and almost grey looking. Body wise, she is looking pretty good

Considering how emaciated she was a few yrs ago with awful bags under her eyes I think she looks great!! Maybe a tad bit too much make up but she looks soooo much better with a little meat on her bones & she really looks confident & comfortable in her own skin. She’s a mother now & ya can’t stay stuck in one specific style forever. She’s matured & looks like she’s got her sh** together. I say fair play to her for being different! There’s enough clones out there already!

wow, nicole copped so much criticism when i came back to this page. i guess now i’m looking at it and hopefully its a style she won’t rock again but kudos to her for giving it a go.
