It really seems like she’s hiding her body. She’s always been wearing oversized clothes but i thought it was bc of her super skinniness as well as a style choice. Now it seems more unnatural in my eyes. All in all baggy isn’t the best for pregnant women imo. Glad to see she’s sporting some kind of a bump, though she still looks very thin (wouldn’t have thought otherwise..)

this isn’t the first time I see her hiding her baby bump. she appears to be so embarrassed with her “little” weight gain. I’m sure that she will go back to her scary skinny figure once giving birth.

Can someone explain to me how celebrities like Rachel Zoe and Nicole Richie are able to get pregnant when they’re so emaciated?! I just didn’t think that was possible!

She looks cute. Her faces in these shots are hysterical. I wonder if someone made her mad? She was wearing the 70’s cut jeans even before she got pregnant. Tunics are one of the most flattering things you can wear when you’re preggo( they were for me anyway.)I wish she’d ease up on the black though. I’m kinda surprised she showing as much as she is. Good for her, she looks like she’s making an extra effort to take care of herself:)

@Natasha: Of course she’s hiding it. It must be torture for her putting on even a gram, let alone pounds! She’s probably already thinking about how to best lose all the weight she’s put on during her pregnancy. I honestly thought her pregnancy would make her look better, ie. softer, less harsh and also younger but jeez, she seems to have aged even more now. 39? No way! She could easily pass for someone who’s 49.
I find it AMAZING that this lady was able to get pregnant, when she was clearly emaciated and grossly underweight with an obvious eating disorder. I don’t get it. And it makes me mad because those around her, especially her husband, should have gotten her help before she got pregnant. She can’t even take care of herself, let alone a baby. She is far along in this pregnancy, yet is still a stick with chest bones sticking out. I pray the baby is getting enough nourishment…

I’ve noticed that she always wears those jeans because 1.) makes her legs look longer and 2.) makes them leaner. She’s a pretty skinny gal but her legs were never that skinny.
she has no pregnacy glow…nice scowl RZ!! her mouth looks weirder than usual because she can’t be filling her face with fillers/botox, so it’s looking very droopy…people in third world countries with zero nutrition who are extremely emaciated/sick/unhealthy can still procreate, so why not RZ?
she looks too old to be pregnant! No matter how old she is, she “looks” too old. Too skinny after a certain age is not good in my opinion. And if your too worried about gaining weight when you are pregnant, then don’t get pregnant! Those nine months are about making a healthy baby, not about how skinny you look.

Is she really pregnant?? Or did she maybe hire a surrogate and wants people to think she is pregnant? Because I have never seen a more emaciated near 40 year old who was able to conceive naturally. I know that sounds mean but it is boggling my mind. That plus I have never even seen a ‘bump’ on her…just oversized clothing…

When you watch R.Zoe’s show it’s obvious that she doesn’t even eat, and if you’d ever watch or read about N.Richie and how healthy she eats. You just can’t link these 2 kind of women together and not at all their way of living (and eating).
I know she’s too skinny and this and that, but I just love her, such a great person and such a talented stylist! hope she gains some more baby weight though (and keeps it after!)

As a parent myself, I don’t think anyone too selfish to put their own issues aside while growing a life inside them should be a parent. Pregnancy is the cakewalk. The real job comes after the baby is born. That being said, I hope Rachel is taking care of herself, and really do wish her the best. It would be nice if being pregnant and actually nourishing her body would have a good effect on her. We’ll see…

I’m glad she’s pregnant, just like I was glad Nicole Richie got preggers. She desperately needs some weight on her. I hope she kicks her smoking habit too because she looks awful. Nice jeans though.
I don’t get the super long hem line on her jeans…she prob is rocking some fantastic shoes but the jeans cover them up! Why would you want to hide your shoes??? It just looks weird to me.
I’ll be honest, I saw the pics before I read the text and my first thought was, “Oh, no, she must have miscarried!” This woman seriously does not look pregnant at all. Whether or not that’s a good thing, I’m not sure, because while I’m glad she didn’t go crazy and gain a ton of weight just because she’s pregnant, it doesn’t look like she’s gained any. That and if she’s showing at all, she’s hell-bent on hiding it, which is just sad.
She’s around 7 months pregnant and her stomach is almost flat.. this is so scary. If anything happens to that baby Rodger will be gone so fast her head will spin… There is no way she’s eating enough for one, let alone two.

I have to agree with the countless other posters who are somewhat skeptical about Zoe’s “official” age as well as their bewilderment that someone so emaciated could actually get pregnant and be able to sustain a pregnancy. I cannot believe this woman is 39 – she looks at least 45 and that’s being charitable. I hope for the baby’s sake, she is able to put aside her food phobia and eat sensibly.

@ Matilda…agree w/you. It must be nearly “killing” Rachel to put on a few lbs. She hates to gain a gram or an ounce! Bet that she is/will be the thinnest woman to give birth @ 9 months along & ready to deliver. She is always wearing looser clothing or jackets/coats that conceal the tiny, tiny amount of weight she is having to put on w/her pregnancy! Bet that she’ll lose the few pregnancy lbs in record time! Bet that within 2 or 3 weeks (after delivery) there will be no signs she even gave birth!! She is like around 7 months along now give or take a week or two? She looks so grumpy/unhappy b/c PROBABLY she is feeling “fat”! I hope that her baby is not suffering from its mothers lack of proper nutrition!
well guess what? there’s huge talk in Hollywood that Rachel, who is almost 50 by the way, hired a surrogate and is wearing a small fake baby bump until the child is born. This is apparently not so uncommon in Hollywood according to my private source…This is beginning to be somewhat obvious due to the fact that you never see her belly, and for 7 months pregnant, there is no weight gain at all in her face or arms or even neck for that matter. It would be extremely dangerous for her to have a child with her history of Anorexia…I don’t know a Dr in the world who would tell her otherwise and if they did, they would advise her to take all the 9 months off from work and be on Dr’s care 24/7. This is fake, so fake.

if she’s healthy enough to become pregnant than thats a good sign. she’s too thin in my opinion, but having a child may change that.
I think she will be a good mother I saw her in the show with her sister and her 2 kids and Nicole richies kids were also very healthy when she gave birth so, I don’t see any problem so far.. she is skinny but I’d prever rather skinny(not anorexic) than being overweigt that’s more toxic for the baby doctors say to potential mothers with overweight to first loose weight.
plus, the jeans she is wearing seems to be her signature look just as Karl lagerfeld always wears gloves and rings.
I’m sorry, but I can’t stand her either. She always looks pissed off, like she’s eaten 23 lemons for breakfast, and I’m not fond of her clothes or her overall apperance. I thought she would look better now that she’s pregnant, get a motherly glow, but… no.

We should give her credit, she is preggers of her 1st child, a lot of people who are preggers of their 1st one can feel very sick plus in her case, followed by the paps 24/7 does’t make it easier for her..
And, there are lot’s of women who doesnt gain a lot because they eat in moderation(not anorexia) but just healthy moderation, Nicole Richie too has 2 healthy kids so rachel, keep up!

I think being so extremely underweight is the reason for Giuliana Rancic’s miscarriages. I mean you need to be healthy to support your unborn baby and skin and bones just aren’t enough.

I was also really surprised to find out she could get even pregnant in the first place. She is 7 months and hardly looks pregnant at all!?!? I really hope the baby is ok, she does not look healthy like she should at this point.
I also agree, she is very embarrassed about her weight gain, minimal as it is. If you watch her show you can tell she has TONS of body image issues. I feel sorry for her poor husband, she was dowright almost hysterical when he bought her sexy lingerie to wear.

I went to Africa this summer and worked in hospitals. I saw many woman much thinner than RZ and trust me, they could get pregnant and their baby bump was barely showing at 7 months. That said, the risks for complications at birth was much higher and the babies were often too small at birth and I even saw some dying of hypothermia. In the US I doubt that will happen, but still she’s putting herself and the baby at risk
And pregnant? I’ve always thought she was around 55 years old

@ BAK When I dropped below a certain weight (I was deff skinny but not as skinner as RZ) my periods stopped so I couldn’t have conceived. It’s also really, really bad for your bones if that happens.
Maybe these women use IVf or something, or perhaps their personal body-weight can drop lower than mine did and still ovulate? It does seem odd, I agree.
