geez her hair is boring. although with how overstated the dress is, i suppose there was no other option. I would have liked a side part instead though. Body wise, she looks good but I always thought she needed to hit the gym a bit.

Make-up is very heavy, But i love her face. Any “body” in Hollywood I would take Katy’s hands down.

Gorgeous face and dress, not digging the hair or caked on makeup…she would look much better with a sheer tinted moisturizer and concealer, blush, and focus on the eyes-along with a side part. She does not need all of that makeup since she has great skin and appears to take care of it by staying out of the sun. Considering she is 5′8-5′9 I would put her at 130-138, size 4-6. What do you all think?

Bodywise- she looks AWESOME!! Her curves are banging. Hate the hair and makeup.
She’s really gorgeous and her weight is great, but her lower middle look really funny in this dress. We know that she’s not chunky by any means, but this dress gives her a weird..pooch? there.

Judging from the looks on Katy’s face, I’m surprised no one’s mentioned how “sad” and “depressed” she looks. I guess only certain celebs gets picked on for not looking thrilled at all times lol. Anyways she looks good, she’s definitely toned down her loud colorful wardrobe a LOT lately. She still loves her make-up though, and judging from that pic Russell Brand twittered, maybe she needs it.
She really didn’t know what the heck to do with her bangs, right? Fire your make-up artist, and then well talk. You need a pretty hair-do and great make-up to match that banging body.

I think she probably said she’s a bit lower then she actually is. If she’s really 5′8″ then my sis is an inch taller and only five lbs lighter. My sister looks waay skinnier then Katy does. I don’t think an inch of height would make that much of a difference.
Katy is pretty. I don’t understand why she always wears so much makeup. I get the retro thing but she doesn’t look good. When I see someone like Gwen Stefani( who also does her makeup old school) my first thought is “she looks good” with Katy it’s usually ” wow, that’s a lot of paint.” I’ve seen her in person and she has nice features. There is no way she needs to wear her makeup so heavy.
Love the dress and makeup, but that HAIR?! WHY?! Katy should have done her normal 40s curls … that would have looked so nice with the dramatic dress.
I’d have trouble looking happy if my husband Tweeted a picture of me just waking up too. That was so mean. And I’m sure ProActiv didn’t appreciate it either.

I was just preparing some snarky comment about her better half when I saw yours. Great minds think alike, I guess. How do we stay so modest? LOL. But there is no denying that she looks far from happy here. Poor thing, but I guess that’s the price you pay for youthful stupidity.

I was thinking the same thing. With this dress and her coloring she could have pulled off a retro pinup hairstyle with that dress beautifully. Finish it off with a nude lip and a more understated blusher (if any), and she would have looked MUCH better.

She went overboard on the makeup, at least by using so much bronze shadow under her bottom lashes. I’m not wild about the dress, but she makes it look AMAZING. She looks otherwordly; like Wonder Woman or something.
I am alarmed at how many people are saying she is wearing too much makeup. Do you realize she is on the red-carpet and 99% of celebrities have caked on makeup for the camera (including men)?
Also, her skin is actually not perfect. I love Katy Perry, think she is beautiful…but I saw a lot of HQ shots of her from this event and at the Grammy’s, and she has quite a bit of breakouts on her face. It’s obvious she is self-conscious about it, and uses heavier makeup to conceal it. That being said, she is gorgeous with and without heavy makeup.
Her legs looked thicker at her Grammy performance, but to me it just adds to her hourglass appearance.
