She has definitely gained…she is growing saddlebagish things around the hip area. She’s skinny fat and now that she is an adult, she’s going to have to work to keep her figure.

Actually I agree with the comment above.. I’m the same age as Miley and know how self concious teenagers can be about their weight and appearance in general and I feel like its not right to be voicing our opinions about her weight. Its sad that the majority of commenters will probably have something negative to say about Miley- and even sadder that they will most probably be older than her..
she just genetically has a chubby/full face and neck…you can’t fight nature…these photos SCREAM staged pap op!! so she most likely set the whole thing up…she doesn’t seem irritated in the least to be photographed…she looks to be terribly bloated…i don’t feel sorry for her or us commenting on her…she seems quite full of herself and loves being in the spotlight….loved the pap pics of her the other day smoking a ciggie out her car window…i don’t think she’s concerned about being a role model…so she’s fair game people!!
I think she is fine:young and natural..hope for her she is not going to have plastic surgery in future. Who knows?..
I am the last one to stand up for Miley when people critize her, HOWEVER some people here have serious issues and I would advice you all to see a professional.
She’s 18. Do you remember what you did when you were her age? If working out obsessively and watching you weight/diet was one of those things, I truly pity you. Let her be. She’s still growing and god knows she’ll have years upon years to worry about her body what with today’s standards (clearly evident in this comment section). I think many people here would be surprised if they saw pics of themselves walking in tights – negatively that is.
Before anyone gets mad, I’m young too, I just turned 20 and I’m sorry but Miley looks pudgy. She has for a while since she was 16 or 17. Besides little girls, I’ve never understood her apeal, she is not cute at all, had an awful body, and lacks ANY talent what so ever. Disney went downhill with her. I highly doubt he bloated look and weight gain is “developing” I think it has to do more with drugs and drinking. The new Lindsay!
I don’t know why you all call her bloated, she looks slim and healthy to me and her face has always been round like that.
Hopefully Billy-Ray keeps her on the straight and narrow. I can go on and on about her “talent” but I will refrain from the negativity that could be, and simply say… her body is alright, but hopefully she hits the gym and not the powdered white stuff… that you snort.

@kate- it’s probably not devolping. Im 20 also and I never really had a major weight gain developing-I just didn’t want to be rude or anything since she’s still young. Thats why i put three periods after I typed “developing” because I wasn’t really sure if it was developing-and I agree that it’s probably not.
She looks ok. You can see she has a nice waist when she’s wearing bikinis. I never thought she was pretty though, especially that her mouth lol.
lovely figure. not an outfit designed to show it off. and yeah she is young and no we shouldn’t be negative about kids- although may i say maybe her parents should have considered that before shoving her into the limelight?- but more importantly we shouldn’t be negative about anyone- its just weight we’re debating here- not third world politics. why does it seem like the only reason people come on these sites is to run down other people? does it really make you feel better?
Either way I’d happily trade bodies with miley. she seems to have boat loads of confidence so it will be interesting to see how she copes with fame as an adult.

The title of this should be Miley Cyrus Takes a Walk While Holding Her Dog. The dog ain’t doing a damn thing.
And I don’t even like Miley, but people need to leave her alone. She looks fine.
So she was on the Disney channel, she doesn’t have to do everything the PG way for rest of her life. I think she looks casual and cute, and most of all – happy. Also, she’s really not half as bad as LiLo or many others especially considering how closely Miley’s every move is scrutinised.
Anyway, considering everything I think her body looks fine. Not skinny, but definitely thin/slim.
She’s always just seemed sweet, she’s so nice to her fans and even the paparazzi!

Miley has always had a very round face. I, too, think that she may have gained a few lbs..but her body is still going through the puberty changes (@18 years old, etc.) so won’t judge her weight and such YET! And she’s carrying her CUTE LITTLE DOG…NOT

BTW, I saw on TV that people (young & old)/ viewers had voted on ..like “worst role model” for the year (2010) or something similar to that and to everyone’s amazement it was NOT Lindsay Lohan who was at the top of the list (Number #1 worst role model for the year) for 2010…it was Miley Cyrus! And, apparently; Miley ALSO won the same #1 worst (role model) for the year 2009 as well! GO FIGURE!! It was on the ABC NEWS (Good Morning America) !!

I’m 19 and have been obsessed with working out and dieting for years and I’m not famous, i think it’s fine to talk about her, if she’d just emerged at the age of 18 there’d be no issue, it’s just people still think she’s the youngster she was when we first saw her.

She does look puffy and bloated…reminds me of when I was 18 not so long ago, it sucked. So I went the other way, hopefully she finds a weight she can maintain and settle at.
I bet she is planning to get a boob job soon, and so she is gaining a little weight so the difference won’t be so obvious. That way she can just say she was “still growing”. Then she’ll lose some weight, and ta-da, the ta-tas will still be there.

I was 102lbs in high school and I’ll be 21 this year, everyone told me your body changes so much in college and weight gain ect ect ect…I’m 105 now, clearly not a big deal. wtf…someone said she has saddle bags? we cant even see her butt area which is where the bags end up? And as far as a young persons body changing after 18yrs old…it does, it just takes time…I saw a change in mine around 25yrs old…it was harder to loose any weight and I had to work to stay toned unlike my teen yrs…just wait girls…it WILL happen…the upside is that if you have a rounder face like Miley…it will thin out and look more mature as u age…I think she will find a good weight for herself as she gets older and stops fooling around so much. She’s having a blast w all that money she has right now…she prob does not give a shit about what she looks like to others. Imo anyway.
I’m sorry but she has that bulimic look. She’s bloated looking right where her neck meets her jaw, the typical place for bulimic bloat. I hate it when thin girls have puffy faces because it makes me very suspicious. At this point in her life, her face should be thinning out, that’s a normal developmental process.

I honestly think this girl is bulimic. Obviously I don’t know her but considering that her best friend came out of an in-patient eating disorder clinic and that she’s occasionally very puffy…. It’s just a feeling I get from her. I could easily be wrong though.
