I love her–she reminds me of Cameron Diaz with all her working out and muscles…just at a 5′5 body height. I think she is about 125 and Cameron could be 130..muscle does weigh more than fat!

I don’t understand the too old for Converse thing, at all. And I’m in my mid-20s. They aren’t exactly flashy or trendy, they’re classics. Oh well, I’ll be wearing mine for years to come, even if younger girls point and snicker. o_O And Renee looks about the same she always does.
Renee looks more like someone who might be doing 10 milers.

I see Renee all over town and she never, never dresses up unless it’s for Red Carpet…she’s really a bit of a tomboy and prefers that look…If I had all her money I would be in top to bottom designer and designer Vintage. But I’m a Fashion person and have always been..to each her own..but, I must agree, the obsessive dieting and jogging aged her..and I liked her old nose better than the new sculpted one..
i think she carries her weight in her legs more so you can’t really see much here. looks fine, not traffic stopping
Renee is a beautiful woman, however she frustrates me sartorially. She seems to wear only two things: gowns/ dresses for awards shows or workout gear/ jeans. There just seems to be no middle ground with her and casual wear appears to be a foreign concept. She has the potential to look so much better.
I was never a huge Zellwegger fan, but after reading some of the harsh comments I feel compelled to come to her defense. Squinty has a nice, petite physique and a fresh, natural looking face. She’ll be 42 this April, but you couldn’t tell that by looking at her. Besides, aging is not some sort of disease, it’s a privilege. By the time you get to be my age, you too will unfortunately know lots of people who had to quit the race prematurely. What’s a few extra pounds and a wrinkle or two compared to that? (Sorry to sound like a broken record, but hey, you guys brought this on yourselves.)
Agree with Jade. Also, Renee’s wearing the black version and the rest of her outfit is pretty subdued, it’s not like she’s dressed like Avril Lavigne or anything and I totally understand that she doesn’t make a big production of her hair when going to the beauty salon. Some posters on here seem a little judgy today.
I wear converse and I’ll still be wearing them when I’m 80. They are classics so totally ageless. She looks good. Casual and happy which makes a change.
I’ve always thought that she looks to have extremely sensitive/allergic skin (I am the same and can spot it!), so I am not surprised that she is using this skin care. I’m gonna guess that she uses the $65 antioxidant serum! haha.
Anyway, she looks happy in her casual clothes and pretty cute as usual.
I also have been wear the converse jogger ones for ages and I am over 28.

Thank you Mickey! Ok, if Renee is “not your type” then I can understand if you don’t find her attractive. She looks like a typical 30-something female athlete. I get the impression she really loves fitness, not that she is doing it to burn calories so she can eat enchiladas. That lifestyle reates a certain “look” which is never going to be soft and curvy. I guess I respect that. I also like when I can look at a body (Renee’s, Jenifer A’s) and say “Wow – I see the hard work. Good for you.”

hmm, some of you are being downright dickish. Renee seems pretty sweet, and looks nice. Not all wealthy actresses are so self-centered that they dress like mannequins all the time. There are other things to do with money.
converse are age-agnostic. betty white should wear converse. in fact she should be their spokesperson!! i plan on wearing mine well into my 80s.
some wear Chucks till they’re 80 and some where Docs when they’re 80. i would have wore the latter at 80…..ahem, but no longer. once Docs became Trendy and Norstrom started carrying Docs, i abandoned them. Chucks are timeless indeed, but they’re mess ur feet up. no arch support, just saying. renee looks natural and mellow. a little too thin, but whatever, she’s ok.
Renee looks every bit 42 – maybe older. She looks tired, weathered and a little beat down. I like her and her movies, but her constant gaining and losing 40 lbs at a time has really taken a toll on her. Also, Chuck Taylors are only timeless to people who actually wear them. To the rest of us they are just a casual shoe to be worn with jeans, which is exactly how Renee is wearing them. And yes, Renee looks ridiculous wearing them, like most of her outfits, unfortunately.
Even people who don’t wear them would probably agree that they’re classics. I guess people are used to the emo kids wearing them. Kids who think they made them cool, but they’re actually ripping off their parent’s and grandparent’s style.
