    she looks smaller
    team kristie!

  2. Ridiculous! | 8/03/11

I feel sorry for her, trying to get attention. Hopeshe makes it this time

  3. Kimzahe | 8/03/11

She is 60 years old and I think she looks great for her age (young face for a 60 years old woman!) and I guess at her age she doesn’t care not being a “pin-up” anymore.

  4. dascoop | 8/03/11

obviously begged for the job so she could lose weight like they all do on this show..how can anyone that heavy even dance well?

  5. Bree Ann | 8/03/11

    I like her, I do.

I wanna say something nice but man do we miss her It Takes Two days.

  6. Jade | 8/03/11

That shows gonna be a huge challenge for her. Hopefully she sheds some pounds and gets motivated enough to lose more before she gets eliminated. I love Kristie, I grew up watching her Look Who’s Talking movies. :-D

  7. Midge | 8/03/11

I’m kinda over her weight gain/loss and all her complaining. I hope that she doesnt disappoint us on Dancing with the Stars

  8. happygolucky | 8/03/11

What is up with her hair, especially in that last shot?
I agree with @Ridiculous. I hope she has a good time and being on the show helps her out.

  9. rachel | 8/03/11

Wow, some mean comments. Yes, she’s a big woman there’s no getting around that but I think it’s so cool that she’s going to be on dwts and she’s going to be working her butt off. I hope she gets in great shape and makes all those people who make fun of her feel really foolish.

  10. Lily | 8/03/11

    Good for her!

  11. MScotton | 8/03/11

She still looks to be obese, so unhealthy.

I’m with dascoop ‘how can anyone that heavy even dance well’? Even if they can dance, no one that weight will look nice dancing!

  12. Imaladygagafan | 8/03/11

I wish she would just pull herself together and realize food is the the most important thing in the world. It’s not healthy, mentally or physically. YIKES!!!

  13. kreagel | 8/03/11

weight discussions aside – who DOES that in public???

  14. Alexis | 8/03/11

haha “monster” ah, that’s means… but funny. She does look like she has lost some weight. She will be hilarious on dancing with the stars, I love her personality.

  15. missmc | 8/03/11

I think it’s good she got on the show. Dancins is such a great way to put back the fun in excercising!Good for her.

  16. USAUSA | 8/03/11

She’s DEFINITELY lost recently. Still has that gorgeous hair.

  17. glow | 8/03/11

I agree- gorgeous hair, though I liked it much better that golden chocolate brown color she used to have.

  18. nnn | 8/03/11

    hahahahahaha @ creepy doll—lmao!!! I agree.

  19. maddison | 8/03/11

She was stunning back in the day. Must be sad to look in the mirror. Poor lady.

  20. syrah | 8/03/11

she’s smaller than she WAS, gotta give her SOME credit.

  21. Vicky | 8/03/11

    Keep up, Kirstie!

  22. PaintedBlue | 8/03/11

What amazes me is that she is 60 years old!! Say what you want about her weight, etc… but she does not look 60 to me!

  23. Polly | 8/03/11

Why can’t she just wear something flattering? She should know by now that unfitted clothes make a big person look bigger…but maybe she just doesn’t care…

  24. Vagabond | 8/03/11

    Oooohhh….yeah.

    Too easy.

  25. k | 8/03/11

she kind of annoys me because i feel like she gains and loses to make money.. she always gets some kind of deal out of it (then again, i guess a lot of stars do), i.e. fat actress, dancing with the stars, oprah, jenny craig, etc. i wish she would stick to it for her health.

  26. Amanda | 8/03/11

    I agree–she has definitely lost weight! :)

  27. Oliva | 8/03/11

I support her for (seemingly) NOT caring about other’s thoughts in regards to her weight, I really do.

I don’t support wearing REALLY tacky clothing in public and “pole” dancing in the street while wearing a really nasty dress with even uglier shoes. That’s just not okay with me lol

She has the personality and the “IT” piece to be an amazing actress, I just hope that she’s taking this position on DWTS to enhance her ratings as an actress, to get back into the swing of things, and to act. Because that is something she is truly amazing at!!!

    GO TEAM ALLEY!!!!!

  28. Sian | 8/03/11

@USAUSA — gorgeous hair!? Are we looking at the same pics? I think that bird’s nest on her head looks a little Britney-esque. Nothing some conditioner and the use of a comb couldn’t fix, though.

  29. kmh | 9/03/11

Shes shrinking! Good for her.. Dancing With The Stars Strikes again!

  30. Jetta | 9/03/11

Agreed Polly – she needs better wardrobe choices – she doesn’t have to look terrible! Even with the extra weight, underneath it, I can see she has a nice figure. Hope she can work to bring it out!

  31. biz | 9/03/11

Horrible outfit but she does indeed look good

  32. maria | 9/03/11

She looks much, much better and younger than all the 60-year-old ladies without an ounce of fat on them who look like dried beef.

  33. lux | 9/03/11

You guys are supper mean, she is 60 years old for ***k sack. Would you say these mean things about your own Nanna? I know I wouldnt.

  34. TopsyTurvy | 9/03/11

    Kimzahe | 8/03/11
She is 60 years old and I think she looks great for her age (young face for a 60 years old woman!)

I agree. This is totally showing my age but I grew up with her playing the role of Virgilia Hazard in North & South and I still love her for it. Happy memories!

  35. HB | 9/03/11

Watched her on Cheers the other day. She was stunning! And she’s still a beautiful lady, no one can deny that, looking at her bone structure. And she looks tall, with really nice posture whenever I see her, which means she might turn out to be a beautiful dancer.

GO, KIRSTIE! I might actually *watch* this season of DWTS because she’s on it :)

  36. Holls | 9/03/11

She looks amazing for 60! I think even 168 would be great for her.

  37. Kylie | 9/03/11

Why is that guy beside her and some of the other people standing around not wearing shoes ??!

  38. Chrissy | 9/03/11

I just love her, and hope she can successfully keep her life together. I know she doesn’t like being fat… she just needs some motivation to stick to a healthier lifestyle

  39. zoey | 9/03/11

This is the best I’ve seen her looking in a while. At least she’s wearing a decent dress and shoes, not a mess of sloppy clothes like she ususally does. Too bad she can’t comb her hair. She’s always had these issues with basic hygiene. I think that affects her weight, too. Like she’s too lazy and sloppy to take proper care of herself. (I’m not saying this is the case with overweight people in general)Usually she’s flipping off the photogs. Just crass. I hope the show does help her, but if she doesn’t have self discipline and learn manage these issues on her own, she’ll just gain back any weight lost. Sermon over.

  40. colleen | 9/03/11

what is with the dude next to her? he’s not wearing any shoes!

  41. Pink Cashmere | 9/03/11

She strikes me as a person who doesn’t really give a d*mn- about looks nor weight. (Sorry, but she usually looks a hot mess.)
Tina Turner, at 71 looks way better than this, lol.
Dancing takes effort and tough physical dedication. Who knows if she’s got it.

  42. glj | 9/03/11

this isnt the biggest we’ve seen her but it’s such a shame she EVER has to be this weight. i think if she wants to lose once and for all she needs some therapy about food. clearly got an abnormal relationship with it

  43. me | 9/03/11

she’s a beautiful lady if only she realised that

  44. glow | 9/03/11

Why would her size prevent her from dancing well? I’ve seen many larger sized people who are great dancers. Just like I’ve seen many skinny people who move like they have a board strapped to their back.

  45. yessimjess | 9/03/11

uh WOW. I like her. But she should shed about 50 pounds. Hopefully the show will help. She seems like a nice gal. So maybe this will be a positive thing for her. but that outfit… come on kirstie!!

  46. Katlin | 9/03/11

SO, SO LOVE Kirstie!!! Hope she will have a blast on DWTS and will feel so fit that it will be easier for her to continue a fitness routine. Wish nothing but the absolute best for her. GO KIRSTIE!!!

  47. alma | 9/03/11

no matter how she looks like… i just LOVE her!

  48. nin | 9/03/11

I hope DWTS will do what it’s done for many overweight stars, shape up and re-start their lives and on a path they can manage and maintain. It’d be nice to see a Kirstie Alley come back!

  49. SupermodelSuzie | 9/03/11

    She needs some Tenuate.

  50. skinny rocks | 9/03/11

Love the red orthopedics. She’s got the whole Dorothy thing goin on…from the Wizard of Oz.

  51. sara | 9/03/11

Love her but…its not the weight, its the depression,,,she just looks so sad and bloated and messy,,,depressed…bummer, i hope she pulls it together so that she she can smile and be energetic and happy.

  52. Mickey von Dutch | 10/03/11

No matter how big Alley gets, you can always see her potential. With the right amount of grooming she could look like a million bucks, even at this weight. I guess I’m a sucker for pitbulls (the proverbial type). Life has kicked her down many times, but she keeps getting up. That makes her a winner in my book.

  53. toot | 10/03/11

No wonder there are cracks in the sidewalk. I hope she never lands on her dance partner.

  54. toot | 10/03/11

    @ Imaladygagafan-

    I think she does.

  55. toot | 10/03/11

No matter what, I always love her personality. It’s big and wonderful. And it is hard to believe she’s 60.

  56. Kianna | 10/03/11

Hope that Kirstie brings her “quirky personality” (like on the old Cheers Episodes) to DWTS. She is 60! WOW didn’t realize that! Maybe she can lose some more weight (she’s lost quite a bit from where she was). Perhaps, like Kelly Osbourne, maybe this (DWTS) will be a “spring-board” for her to lose weight and maybe eat more healthfully & maybe continue to lose AFTER she’s voted off the show. Kelly lost a lot while on DWTS and then lost another …what 20 or 25 lbs and she started eating properly (well, she dieted) and worked out a LOT! Maybe the same can happen for Kirstie! That would be wonderful b/c she is at an age now where it is much harder to lose lbs & keep them (lbs) off!!

  57. Sondie | 10/03/11

God WTH…a mess…just because your bigger…doesnt mean you cant comb your hair and pick out better clothing!

  58. Uhudler | 10/03/11

she looks good (b/c she lost)

  59. Bada | 10/03/11

    She looks good!

  60. Tracey | 10/03/11

Lawd knows us fat people should shield ourselves from the public. Gawd, we can barely move or breathe, much less dance! I mean, really, how do we even justify our very existence?

  61. Prettiestfeet | 11/03/11

I think she is a beautiful women with one hell of a weight problem. I’m hoping DWS will help her get rid of the extra lbs once and for all. When her hair is “done” best long hair in Hollywood IMO.

  62. Jessicarose | 11/03/11

Looks like a crazy cat lady..

  63. AngelaB | 13/03/11

She needs a shorter updated haircut. I think she should just accept her size, but she can dress more flattering.

  64. hanan | 13/03/11

she’s beautiful ,,and doesn’t look her ag @ all
and i guess i like her as an actress

and hopfuly she lose 50 lbs by dancing :)

  65. hanan | 13/03/11

and WHAT UGLY SHOES &DRESS EWWWWW
