as pretty as she is..miss her curves :(

  2. joey | 18/04/11

yeah, you know — good for her.
i just hate the whole drama of telling everybody you embrace your “”curves”" while you’re (of course) still thick and then looking all happy and glad with the new slimmer body. it’s phony, but whatever. i guess other celebs are way worse than j hudson, though.

  3. Lisa S. | 18/04/11

It looks like children did her styling, oy.

  4. Viktoria | 18/04/11

Jennifer is an example of someone who can get thinner & not necessarily look “better”. For some reason it seems as if the weight-loss is really showing up on her face (& making her look older.) I feel like she is healthier now, though.

  5. Tara | 18/04/11

I think she looks really good!

  6. OliviaRose | 18/04/11

I think it’s fabulous she lost all that weight and she looks great. But too bad this outfit completely ruins all of that.

  7. Rachel | 18/04/11

Its great that she lost all the weight she wanted but this out fit she is wearing doesn’t do any justice for her!

  8. b | 18/04/11

Agreed on the outfit. What a mess.

  9. Jade | 18/04/11

I’ve read a few times that she’s a size 4 and I’m not buying it. She’s quite tall. Not unless certain brand sizes run even bigger than I think. But considering how far she’s come she looks good.

  10. morticia | 18/04/11

yay for her for losing the fatness…now if she would only do something about her face, which has become beyond unattractive since the weight loss/combined with aging, which she is not doing well…she looks so old now…and good god, her mouth and those horrible lines…she’s become manly looking as of late…horrible outfit also!

  11. glj | 18/04/11

size 4 as in UK 8? nope definitely not sorry

why are people saying OMFG TOO THIN in previous posts!? OPEN YOUR EYES she is nowhere NEAR too thin! she’s a little on the heavy side of average I’d say, still congrats on the weight loss though

  12. sweets | 18/04/11

She looks great but lord when is the tights with shorts trend going to GO AWAY!?! Please let it be sooooon.

  13. TheRealTee | 18/04/11

ugh, i can see what she was trying to achieve with this outfit but it just did not work. too much too much!! I can believe she’s a size 6 or 8…size 4? no, but you know how people lie

  14. exceptional21 | 18/04/11

OK, PEOPLE—there is no denying that she looks 10000183928409289274892 times better— she looks prettier, younger, and way more beautiful…stop trying to lump her into the category of curvy celebs who lose their curves and stop embracing being CURVY—before, she WAS NOT curvy, she was OVERWEIGHT–there is a difference. now, she is curvy but healthy/slim. i don’t understand the people who say ohh i liked her better when she was curvy…that makes no sense!!

  15. exceptional21 | 18/04/11

oh and also @Morticia– i think its quite rude to make fun of her mouth and face and to say that she is aging horribly—her face is VERY smooth, some people just have natural laugh lines when they smile, thats not necessarily a sign of aging. i have seen kids with laugh lines, similar to dimples, she’s probably always had that. she does have a larger mouth that stands out more when her face is slimmer, but not everyone is perfectly symmetrical– she still has a beautiful face. it may not be your definition of beauty, but thats no reason to make fun of it.

  16. retrobanana | 18/04/11

looks lovely i am not too fond of the outfit either but i am happy for her she seems happy i hope she can keep it off too!

  17. Mel | 18/04/11

    UGLY outfit!!!!

  18. Leah | 18/04/11

I think that she looks great!

I thought she looked great overweight, too, but I am so happy for her weight loss, especially since it is what she wanted. She looks fantastic and healthy. Oh, and happy. :-)

  19. l. | 18/04/11

    this woman is amazing…

  20. Kylie | 18/04/11

I have to agree somewhat with Morticia, This is one chick i think looked Better heavier.. But in sure she is healthier at this weight and happier… but her face suffered :(

  21. happygolucky | 18/04/11

She looks great. But yeah, bad outfit, and the haircut brings to mind Rick James or Donna Summer — a different one would go a long way IMO.

  22. joey | 18/04/11

definitely agree @ exceptional 21. but in reality (and this is what i meant) overweight celebs/the media love to refer to themselves as curvy and promoting to embrace yourselves (which isn’t a bad thing in general) when, really, they are just overweight. any person can be curvy if one’s got the right bone structure. fat rolls are not curvy.
i just hate how they fake their happy-fat attitude and then -bam- loosing massive amounts and suddenly it’s all about the loss and how they feel soo much better – who would’ve thought that. uh.

  23. Erin | 18/04/11

Yeah come on everyone she has done a great thing, and should be seen as inspirational to women that are overweight. Just because she once said embrace your curves and then she lost all her weight, who cares, she would probably still say to bigger girls embrace your curves or maybe she would say ‘you’re beautiful no matter what size’. It’s women like this that should be congratulated and not chastised for looking like they’re aging ungracefully.

@Morticia the lines around her mouth are most likely the result of her weight loss since her face used to be a bit chubbier, it’s a bit harsh to put it the way you said it.

The outfit would’ve looked nicer if she had chosen a skirt or something. And lost the hat.

  24. minx | 18/04/11

now morticia if only we could find a way to help you lose the bitchiness.
I hope she is happy. I alwasy thought she carried the weight well, so whichever makes her happy, makes me happy :-)

  25. D | 18/04/11

Saying things like “I miss her curves” is beyond ridiculous. So someone loses weight and automatically they have no curves? Please! Look at her, there is no denying that she looks a million times better now – not to mention healthier. A lot of you seem to be under the impression that overweight = curves which is just odd. You can be skinny and have curves as well as overweight with curves. It has to do with the shape not the size of someones figure. People were saying the same things about Missy Elliot when she changed her lifestyle for the better, these ladies just can’t win.

  26. Kianna | 18/04/11

KUDOS to her for her huge weight loss (W/Weight Watchers) plus she is STILL ON the W.W. maintenance portion of the diet! I have to agree she looks kind of “off” in this outfit though. It “chops” her off or something and her legs look larger.
@exceptional21…agree that J. Hudson looks much better after losing weight. However,as you mentioned she was not just curvy before her Weight Watchers…she was majorly OVERWEIGHT ! She was a large woman before she got pregnant and then after her son (now 2) was born she had a lot of baby weight plus the weight she was at prior to becoming preggers was “up there”! She is now slim/curvy…but nowhere a size 4! She is a tall woman and is larger boned as well. No way she’s a size 4. A size 6 is stretching it and probably more like an 8!

  27. Sian | 18/04/11

Agree with exceptional21 — Jennifer’s still curvy and if it was anyone else we didn’t know had lost weight we’d never say she was too thin.

  28. cynthia | 18/04/11

SHE LOOS A-MA-ZONG SO STOP HATING!

  29. Laura | 18/04/11

To me she always seemed to have a kind of glow before. I know it’s probably much healthier that she lost the weight (at least if she did it in a healthy way, that is) but I always feel that there’s something missing now. I’m usually not a fan of bigger women but I always found her stunningly beautiful, regardless of her weight.

  30. lolo | 18/04/11

Good for her for getting healthy (yes, embracing curves is all good and most celebs are waaaaay too thin, but she was definitely overweight before).

BUT, good god, those shorts! I hated them the first time around in the 80s/90s, and I hate them now.

  31. Madison Avenue | 18/04/11

Her amazing weight loss has gone to her head. She’s dieted out any good fashion sense.

  32. MentallySkinny | 18/04/11

Love love love that she has kept on her healthy habits. Now, Jennifer, you’ve lost lots of weight, you look amazing, no need for the unflattering shorts.

  33. clark kent | 18/04/11

never will get on board with liking her. she tries way to hard. she is so very very unattractive. more so now that she has no fat in her face.

  34. skinny rocks | 18/04/11

I can’t decide if she’s embracing her inner Peter Pan or her inner Pinocchio.

  35. The Shizz | 18/04/11

The outfit is lame, lame, lame. Is she trying to be “fashion-forward” because she’s lost a bunch of weight? It doesn’t work for her. She’s a gorgeous woman and should stick with gorgeous clothing, not quirky stuff.

  36. isa | 18/04/11

Well she is at a much healthier weight now. It’s just her face, it looks bad with those deep lines around her mouth. But that’s expected with a huge weight loss. I remember how Star Jones looked. Healthy, but her face looks saggy.

  37. kate | 19/04/11

it’s great that she’s losing weight the healthy way, but THERE IS NO WAY SHE IS A SIZE 4. Please! And that outfit is atrocious! When celebs lose weight, they think they can pull off trends that are meant to look good on rail thin people!

  38. Matilda | 19/04/11

She looks so much younger now that she has lost all the weight, I think she’s very cute. Apart from her fashion sense though, her oufit is ahem, beyond repair.

  39. Vagabond | 19/04/11

Not digging the early 90s sitcom outfit, but she looks good.

  40. syrah | 19/04/11

Yay for getting healthy, u go girl. She needs a better outfit though…

  41. zilla | 19/04/11

    did she gain weight?

  42. tuffers | 19/04/11

Dang, I’m the odd man out on this one, I think her outfit rocks, especially the shoes. Love her style.

  43. stlrapper | 19/04/11

this outfit reminds me of Blossom lol I like it, but I am also a fan of get-ups. i think she looks great and the weightloss makes her look more youthful…i liked her as a bigger woman, too but she seemed more matronly. i think it is amazing for her to have been a bigger girl, have a baby, then lose all this weight. that is quite an accomplishment given where she came from. not to mention if she is/was an emotional eater and enduring through the tragic deaths of multiple family members at once… i admire the girl for still standing.

  44. jessa | 19/04/11

    i like her outfit.

  45. thehills | 20/04/11

love her, she seems so self confident now!!!!

  46. toot | 20/04/11

    @minx-

    ha ha!

    @skinny rocks-

    ha ha!

  47. littleairbender | 21/04/11

I still think that Jennifer Hudson looks pretty curvy, but a lot slimmer. She is by no means too thin, and I think saying to “embrace your curves” still entitles her to make healthy choices and get down to a healthier weight. She definitely still has her curves! And I think she looks awesome.

  48. Dmtx | 22/04/11

    exceptional21
I agree, now we can see her curves, before she was just overweight.. you couldnt even see curves, that was fat (not being rude, just saying lol)
Being curvy and being overweight are two completely different things

  49. simplydebi | 24/04/11

Her face with “tighten” up naturally with time to account for the weight loss. Although, I have no idea how she walks in those shoes.

  50. simss | 25/04/11

I totally think she looks better now at a size 4 or 6 (I think she’s either one of those) than when she was a 10 or 12. If she loses more weight she won’t look good. However this outfit makes her look 10 pounds heavier. I would do either the baggy shorts with a tight top or tighter shorts w/ baggy top. The tights make her legs look slimmer. I like her body now.
