She looks about the same as usual: skinny…

Here we go again! Keira Knightley is back in the news because of how skinny she is. Eating disorder and anorexia rumors are flying around the internet… interesting how this always happens when she has a new movie out.

(I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again - ED rumors and getting super-skinny are great ways to get publicity for Hollywood it girls!)

Keira Knightley and Sienna Miller have starred in movies together and are supposedly friends in real life…

I wonder if they swap diet [starvation] tips or something? They are both awfully thin at the moment.

We haven’t seen Keira Knightley around here in a while… so here are some new pictures of her from the BAFTA’s last night.

She has some serious bones popping out in her back! But as someone else pointed out to me, she’s always had most of her weight in her leg area, which is covered in this dress. So we can’t really say much other than the fact that she looks very thin here, only not as scary skinny as she did in these pictures.

Poor Keira Knightley seems to always have to defend herself against those anorexia rumors from last year. To refresh your memory, a nasty article came out implying that a 19-year old (who had died of anorexia) used Keira’s pictures as an inspiration to starve herself. So in the January 2008 issue of Elle UK, she addresses this subject briefly:

“The article was horrendous and completely devastating, not only because of the actual girl, but because on another level it could potentially have ruined my career. Because if I had been anorexic, there is no way I would have been able to do a lot of the action movies that I do. People wouldn’t have hired me.” Keira has stated, publicly and often, that she is not anorexic and attributes some of the ongoing speculation to flippant comments that she made about her body when she first started getting attention in the press: “I was 18,” she says. “And the idea that an 18-year old girl is not going to be in some way feeling awkward is ridiculous. I wouldn’t say that I have body issues, but if you’re going to ask me whether I’m completely, 100 per cent satisfied, of course I’m not. Nobody is.”

Good point!

Anyway, Keira has slimmed down since first becoming famous, but nowadays she is looking pretty good. Still very thin, but not scary.

Is it possible that Keira Knightley is finally gaining weight? She was spotted in London last week with Rupert, wearing a dress and showing off her legs.

Since this is the first time I can recall seeing Keira’s legs, I can’t help but wonder if all this time we have assumed she was too thin when really the whole time, she was carrying the majority of her weight in her leg and thigh area?
