The Victoria Beckham Ad
April 18th, 2008 by Rian | 177 Comments | Filed in Victoria Beckham, Polls & DiscussionWith all of the recent controversy over “too thin” models who supposedly promote anorexia by glorifying the “too thin” image, I decided to do this post to get some feedback from you all on the subject. And this latest ad of Victoria Beckham posing for the Marc Jacobs clothing line is a perfect example.
Does she or does she not look almost skeletal in this ad?

Obviously it’s partly due to the way she is posing (with her arms pressed into her sides) and partly because she IS very thin. (There is also probably some airbrushing in the mix).
So with all of the debate of models appearing way too skinny in ads, do you all think that this particular ad crosses the line? Is this ad a blatant advertisement for anorexia, or not? Post your opinion in the comments section!
