US Weekly is running a cover story in their current issue that reveals a few celebrity diet and exercise tips. I have summed up some of the article highlights and included some photos (not brand new, but all taken within that last couple of weeks) for you all…

Jennifer Aniston likes to order salad in the various restaurants she goes to. For instance, at L.A.’s Sunset Tower, she enjoys their grilled chicken paillard and baby greens. For exercise, she does two-hour yoga and Pilates sessions and works out on the elliptical from time to time. If that isn’t enough, she does anti-cellulite treatments at the spa and drinks special herbal teas that help with bloating and abdominal fat.
Wow. That’s a lot of work to stay slim and toned!

Gwyneth Paltrow also works very hard to keep slim. After two children, she sweats it out for two hours a day on various exercise machines and doing dance aerobics. She does not eat meat and settles for organic fruits and veggies and various other foods.

Ever wonder how the gorgeous girls from The Hills stay slim and fit? Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag share some of their secrets in the latest issue of In Touch Weekly.
Lauren Conrad (who has actually gained weight recently, as seen in the above photo, which makes me wonder why she is giving diet and exercise tips) says she stays fit by:
- Cutting carbs - saying “no” to the bread basket and using lettuce for bread on sandwiches.
- Giving yourself a break - “It’s important to cheat once a week,” says Lauren.
- Don’t focus on the scale - “I don’t believe in numbers,” Lauren says.
Heidi Montag stays in super-fit shape by doing the following:
- Stomach crunches - she mixes crunches and medicine-ball tosses to strengthen her abs.
- Dance moves - Heidi’s trainer has her do dance-inspired lunges and squats to keep her legs in shape.
- Gym dates - Heidi and Spencer share a trainer and go to the gym together.
It all seems like pretty decent advice to me… what do YOU all think?

It’s that time of the year again… Summertime, where the tabloids scrutinize celebrities in their swimsuits! (Yes, I know, we do that here all the time).
Anyway, since I can’t scan the article in for you all to read, I will break it all down about who won which titles and why. There are a few pictures at the end of this post that show some of the supposed problem areas on various celebrities.
The Best:
- Katherine Heigl and Audrina Partridge made the “Hot List” because they are curvy yet fit.
- Jennifer Aniston and Kate Hudson won the “Best Shoulders” category. Jennifer used her hotel’s elliptical machine every day while filming the movie “Marley & Me” in Miami. Kate Hudson has been playing tennis lately with Lance Armstrong.
- Mario Lopez, Orlando Bloom, Gavin Rossdale and Hugh Jackman won the “Best Chest” category.
- Matthew McConaughey won the “Best Arms” category. He claims to jog, do push-ups and sit-ups to keep fit and muscular.
- Melanie Brown looks better than ever. She claims to add paprika and cayenne pepper to her foods in order to boost her metabolism!
- Pierce Brosnan reportedly got “rid of his gut” by taking up paddle surfing.
The Worst:
- Tara Reid has a lumpy stomach from botched procedure.
- Heidi Klum won the “Worst suit” category after wearing a bikini that just didn’t seem to fit her right.
- Mariah Carey’s suddenly ripped abs are looking suspiciously like a lipo procedure (which she denies).
- Patricia Heaton doesn’t seem to have a visible belly button!
- Arnold Schwarzenegger swapped bench-pressing for politics, and it shows! Where he once had muscles of steel, he now has lots of flab.
- And of course, Britney Spears made this list… her bulging stomach in a somewhat recent bikini photo looks awful.
- As we all know by now, Mischa Barton has a LOT of cellulite.
- Colin Farrell is way too thin. (But we all know it’s for a movie role).
- Reese Witherspoon looks like she has put some weight on since dating jake Gyllenhaal.
- Rob Lowe has packed on a few pounds in the tummy area.
- Dean Cain used to have a hard body, but not so much anymore…
I have included a few pictures that show some of the “problem areas” for certain celebrities that were mentioned under the “worst” section.
Here is Britney’s “bulging belly”:

The latest issue of Life & Style, which is already in grocery and drug stores across the country, has a cover story about how Janet Jackson is going to lose some serious weight - AGAIN.
Now, Janet appeared on a recent taping of TRL and didn’t seem particularly heavy. However, she wants to get into tip-top shape for her upcoming tour in September. She wants to “overhaul her menu and replace the junk food with healthy food.”

^^^Janet eating McDonald’s last month on her birthday
According to the story, Janet has been indulging in foods like tubs of fried chicken, french fries, chocolate, and has even been known to down an entire pizza in one sitting.
Her tour diet will be something like: Egg whites and a slice of whole wheat bread for breakfast, salad with grilled chicken for lunch, lean fish or chicken with veggies for dinner, and fruit for dessert. (Sound familiar?! Yep - only like every single diet published in these darn tabloids).
So… what do you all think? Personally, I think if she ate all the junk food that the story claims, she’d be pretty heavy at this point! (Buckets of chicken?!)

The latest issue of US Weekly is chock full of celebrity diet and body advice/gossip. Most notably, however, is the cover story about Christina Aguilera’s miraculous baby weight loss, entitled: Christina Exclusive: How I Got My Body Back!
According to the article, Christina has lost almost all of the 40 pounds she gained during her pregnancy with her son Max and is back in her tiny size 2 or 4 jeans. (She claims to have been a size 1 or 2 before her pregnancy). Her goal was to get back into her extra-small Hysteric Glamour jeans, which now fit, although she notices that her hips are shaped a bit differently now.
Christina also claims to be in an E bra size.
Her secret to losing the baby weight? She does 90-minute rigorous workouts with her trainer five times per week. As for the diet side of things, Christina has simply cut back (not cut out) starches and carbohydrates. For instance, she switched from white to wheat bread.
Q: Tell US about your diet now.
A: I’m not into depriving myself; rather, I limit the bad things that I like. I watch my carbs and starches. It was a huge thing to switch to wheat bread - I love my white bread - but I did it!
What do you all think - is it really THAT simple to lose 40 pounds of baby weight - 90 minutes of exercise each day and cutting back on carbs?
Here are some photos of Christina leaving the Little Door Restaurant in West Hollywood this past weekend. She definitely looks pretty much back to her old body!
