Hey everyone! I’ve decided to start including celebrity diet and weight-related articles on this website once in a while in order to spice things up a bit. Here’s the first article… enjoy!
Here are a few diet and exercise secrets from Victoria’s Secret models Erin Heatherton, Alessandra Ambrosio and more!
Body By Erin Heatherton
Erin Heatherton isn’t a natural fitness fiend, lamenting to Vogue.com that: “I need to pay people to make me work out or I wouldn’t do it.” Three times a week, 22-year-old Heatherton forces herself to go to her apartment complex gym for a half hour workout, including five minute sprinting intervals with power walks, that she finds exhausting. She tops it off with her favorite part- half hour of yoga.
Body By Alessandra Ambrosio
This 30-year-old Brazilian goddess places health at the top of her totem poll. She’s also a devotee of yoga, explaining that: “Yoga calms me down and also keeps me lean—it makes exercise feel easy.” In addition to her much-loved yoga routine, she keeps up with rigorous 60 minute happy hour classes at Mang Oh Studio. When she really wants to turbo charge her regimen, chiefly a month before a Victoria Secret fashion show, she calls on Leandro Carvalho, the creator of Brazil Butt Lift fitness and personal trainer of supermodels.
Body By Elyse: No Free Lunch!
Elyse Taylor tells the Sydney Morning Herald: “I exercise and eat right,” fessing up to long workouts on the elliptical machine, the bike and treadmill. “Unfortunately, there’s no secret to it.” Her honesty is refreshing.
Body By Miranda: Live Like You Eat
You might recognize Miranda Kerr as seen draped on the arm of husband-hunk Orlando Bloom, or trotting around town with her adorable son, Flynn. Kerr places health and wellness as a priority in her life.
The supermodel tells Harperbazaar.com: “I live by the philosophy that beauty starts from within and I make a conscious effort to fill my body with nutrients through the food I eat. Becoming a mother has made me even more aware and more passionate about nutrition and wellness. So much so that I am now a certified health coach practitioner.”
Whether you dream of walking the runway or toning down those love handles, if you want to capture the style and look of Director Michael Bay’s beauties, you’ve got to hit the gym and cut down the junk food!
