Christina Ricci Update
Christina Ricci looked fabulous at the Grammy Awards last night.
Something about her looks different, but I cannot tell what exactly. (Any ideas?) Weight-wise, she looks about the same as before, perhaps a few pounds slimmer.

Actually, you can tell she has lost quite a bit of weight…
And I think there may have been either some plastic surgery, a new boyfriend or something else positive in her life to give her that glowing awake look too

She’s lost weight. She does look like an alien - it’s the large head and large eyes, and small body. But she’s been this thin before, particularly when she guested on Ally McBeal a few years back.

Her neck/head looks to be at a funky angle in the first pic.
I do agree - she’s very pretty and very thin. But, she’s not that thin - where are her collarbones/chest bones.

She’s had some very serious weight issues in the past. My guess is this was just a slight weight loss so she looks better for awards season and to promote her new movie (whish sounds/looks amazing!)
I think she also got a great haircut, and had killer make-up and outfit for the event…she looks better than I ever remember her looking (and I’ve always been a fan)

she’s said in interviews before that she struggled with bulimia in her teens. she seems overly thin for her build (and head) here, i hope that she isn’t revisiting past demons.

she got a breast reduction like a year or two ago which significantly changed her look. I think she looks good, definitely *very* thin especially for her body type (which is more shapely).
She is a really amazing actress, I think. Very under-rated.

She has lost a lot of weight in her face, and her eyes are smaller- either the dark makeup and liner brought her eyes in, or she had a little bit of work done.

She’s admitted that she’s had an eating disorder in the past (bulimia, I think)…and I’m sure she she still has one! She definitely looks too thin!!! She also got a breast reduction awhile ago, so that definitely makes her look thinner as well.

I wouldn’t say “skinny”, I’d say slim and petite. She’s not bony and her arms still have a little meat on them.
Most petite people are often thought to be thinner than they actually are due to their small bone structure. =]

god, i do NOT think she’s attractive. she looks like it in the first photo, which is far away. then the close-up headshot… ugh. she has the complexion of a corpse. look at it, her face is *gray*. and she’s very skinny. i think she looks better with some weight on her.
i’ve never seen what the allure is with her. she has a weird face, looks like a Chuckie doll.
i do like the dress though.

I think the lower part of her face/jaw looks different, it dips inward more, creating less of a round appearance, which could be dependent on her weight. Also, when I saw her on TV, her eyes struck me as different from the usual. Maybe it was the lighting at the Grammys. I do see that Reese Witherspoon resemblance in these shots.

It always freaks me out to see celebrities (and, you know, regular people) who have admitted to suffering from eating disorders in the past turn up looking like they haven’t eaten in a week. I like La Ricci - I think she’s snarky and funny and sexy - but she always looks better when she’s sitting midrange in her weight cycles: no toothpick arms, no stomach rolls. Healthy, you know?
That said, this dress is kind of a disaster. The colours do nothing for her, and that wierd sash shortens her legs. She would look hot if she took her style cues from Dita Von Teese or Christina Aguilera: if she pumped up the retro glam and left the uninspired sequins to the Duffster.

uh… she doesn’t look overly thin at all. in fact, nothing in the dress reveals any sort of thinness. She looks good, but it’s obvious that she’s got curvy (nice) hips and meat on her arms. i don’t understand the worried comments..
as for the reese-ness, def. the chin job.
and yeah, she does look coked-up. her “happy” look as very similar to a high-on-blow look.

i don’t think she looked very good at all. the train on the end of her dress really weighted her down and overwhelmed her body. her facil structure is not the best, with the chin and the forehead. as for her weight, she doesn’t look thin at all. in fact, i would venture as far as to call her chubby.

A bit like a big meat ball on a stick. That head is just WAY too big, suppose it would look better with a little more meat on and around arms.
