Kate and Allegra were then spotted leaving another party later on in the evening, both of them looking a bit inebriated…
Allegra - who has suffered from anorexia for years and has been in and out of hospitals and such - is still looking extremely thin and unhealthy these days. I hope she is getting the help she needs!

Not that this picture confirms that Allegra and Kate are best friends or anything like that, but it whoever is supposedly taking care of her or trying to help her is letting her hang out the likes of Miss Moss. She’s not exactly the shining example of healthy living. It really seems like we’ve known about Allegra’s battle with anorexia for a looong time and have not really seen any results from a “recovery.” poor girl

having battled anorexia myself, i know firsthand how difficult it is to recover and *stay* healthy. i hope allegra gets the help she needs and is able to find happiness in her future.
shes a beautiful girl, i hope she gets help before she dies. i know going in and out of treatment can be traumatic, i just hope she can finally find a way to commit to it. i know i know, easier said than done. trust me i know.
Luu, Kate moss is only 5′7″ or 5′8″, it was a big deal that such a “short” woman could be so successful and high fashion. u can look it up if her google her height issues, etc

Poor Allegra, her mother is such a wacko… I hope eventually she will recover. Allegra is 5′2″. One of the best kept secrets in the modeling industry is that Kate is actually 5′4 1/2″, but they like to say that she’s taller so that they don’t get lots of shorter girls trying to become models, but that’s really her height. She’s not even 5′5″, that’s the truth.

TO Maxx05: Yeah, agree w/you. I had read in several reports / sources that Allegra is 5′2″, too…but she has had this disease since she was like 11 or 12 years old. She is now 22.
Allegra has looked worse (in pics of her walking on the beach with her mother 3 or 4 years back when her arms looked worse than they appear here)…BUT Allegra’s arms NOW (once again) look pretty horrific and frail/gaunt as does her body and her face. I’d heard that when one has this extreme of anorexia for such a LONG TIME as Allegra has that they (their bones)their bodies seem to become less in stature. Whether Allegra is drunk or coked up I’m not sure. I (just) think that Allegra needs two people to hold on to her on each side of her. I just think that the disease has left her with that gaunt,blank & life-less look in her face, facial expression. (Her body is fading/wasting away faster)! And that dress is pretty and does cover up her protruding bones. To the person who said she looks like she belongs or just got out of a “concentration camp” is “RIGHT ON THE MARK” !!! She is “death walking” (with someone on each side of her to prop her up)!
I really give her no hope, hanging out with “Coke-Kate” and that crowd…they would only encourage and enable all of her issues. Sad.

Oh my goodness, I agree that Kate Moss actually looks normal here compared to Allegra. Allegra actually looks like she has been tortured. This is horrible. I completely believe this is because if the skinny culture that has taken over.
It is so boring and monotonous now! Eating is fun, exercise and being full of energy is fun people! Why should we all live on salads and slowly kill ourselves through malnutrition?! It’s mad.

i feel so bad for her. as opposed to other people in the spotlight, i think her reasons for being so skinny are not vain and are instead mental. i hope she finds a way to live with that disease.

Allegra is 5′2″ and here she looks to be about 75lbs. max. I really hope she will someday recover from this horrible disorder. She does look like she is about to pass out. In the picture of her from the side, her eyes are so sunken you actually can see the eye sockets in her skull. That is truly frightening. If you have ever seen any photos from the Concentration Camps from World War II, well, she looks like one of those poor victims. She looks truly awful.

In the past year I know she spent time at the Mayo clinic…Donatella and Allegra went on a special shopping trip to the local mall where some people I work with met her.
I feel sorry for her. I would imagine associating in the circles that she does would make recovery quite difficult.

It’s amazing how Allegra makes Kate look fat…perhaps the first time in her life too, Kate is already pretty thin by model standards. Allegra looks coked out of her mind, how else do you think she has the energy to party with the likes of Kate? She’s obviously getting little sustenance food-wise and Kate is practically carrying her (even though Kate is way drunk!). I’m glad to see pretty everyone here does not want to look like Allegra. All I can say is, this is probably all she has ever known. Patterns exist for a reason, but it is obvious she needs help.
The attention and the outer concern and the internal glory must be hard to turn away from, and sure, maybe she won’t die in 4 or 5 years. The sad part is, I don’t think she cares either way.

I’m amazed at how little compassion some of the comments have. It doesn’t matter how much $ someone does or doesn’t have or who they know, mental illness has taken Allegra prisoner, and she is obviously suffering terribly. The bright shiny objects that she can afford at the wipe of a charge card really don’t do much more than a temporary “I’ll take it.” If she’s even that interested in shopping, or has the energy for it. More likely, people provide her with wardrobe to attend the small amounts of events she attends. The girl is living in hell every day, you can see it by looking at her. No, she doesn’t have to worry about paying rent, but she is plagued by mental demons that she can’t rid herself of, don’t chide her for what you don’t have any knowledge about. She may not have everyday survival problems, but believe me, she is having her own survival problems, and is living in her own private battles. You wouldn’t want them.

Nah, I work at a computer all day at my job while attending school.
She’d come back to reality if her head wasn’t so screwed up from being a downright hopeless, easily modelable piece of clay from the screwed up media. People like that just piss me off, they have NO APPRECIATION for themselves, then why would they care about others as well? They don’t. It’s best for them to just finish what they’ve already started…not living. You’re parents have a crap load of money, GET SOME FREAKIN HELP. And if her mom and her family/friends aren’t there to support her as well as her own personal self, than that’s a shame and she can continue to kill herself. Another sad story. Oh well!

i think there are a bunch of people who understand what allegra is going through - as they have stated at one time or another on this site.
i wouldn’t have minded having her security of wealth while living with her problem - that i know all about.

Allegra and kids like Allegra are often raised without support because their parents are too busy off being screwed up and fabulous to know how to raise their children, so the kids are on their own emotionally. This is the result of what happened in her case. Her uncle got shot as well, as most people know, and she was close to him, so that would have traumatized her hugely. I appreciate BC’s niceness, and am put off by some people’s judgement of Allegra’s illness.
It is clear that Allegra needs help, however people making harsh comments in regards to her disorder won’t help her get anywhere. Not that she reads these posts, but she is sick, she doesn’t need to be brought down any further. People literally make me feel ill, in terms of how they can talk about people!!

Reading the comments here are indicative of why girls have EDs - so much judgement and hatred. Why?

meh. it makes you realise the diff between skinny and really really anorexic (kate and alerga). i hope alegra realises that when you are skinner than a model…whose job it is to be skinny…then there are probs:(

Why is this poor girl out for a night on the town, especially with someone like Kate Moss? Don’t her family and friends care about her? What kind of sick world is this? What the hell is wrong with Kate Moss? She looks a mess. Her hair is all over the place. She looks under the influence of something. Her weight seems OK though. The other girl isn’t looking good either. She looks out of it in the head, and she really needs to gain weight.

You sit there and think you can judge someone in this position without having any idea of the struglle that they deal with every day withing themselves.
