Poor Mischa sounds like a mess these days. I absolutely loved her on the OC too. She looks pretty good in these…it’s odd how insistant she used to be that she was naturally skinny and how much her weight has gone up over the years…

my husband had a mild freak out yesterday when walking through the village to meet up with me. apparently he was almost trampled by paps who jumped out of a couple vans and started RUNNING down the street. hmm…poor mischa if that’s what’s following her constantly

I feel bad for her too…she was such a glowing image in her OC Days…now it seems the ‘life’ in her is lost..that sounds horrible ANON above who said about all the paps…I feel bad cos we actually encourage that by coming to sites like this – tear.
I hope she finds peace soon.
On a style note – I think there is WAY too much studded peices here…some light denim shorts which were slightly distressed would have looked MUCH better.
I don’t see the attraction at all, she looks a mess and I’m not a fan of her body at all, can’t stand her legs.

She looks better. Her face isn’t bloated anymore. I don’t like the outfit and I also never understand why the girl always wear so many rings. It would bother me to death.

Mischa does look a bit healthier here. However, I think that her weight is still on the heavy side of normal. She used to be so rail thin (on the OC & like in April of this year). And, her face DOES LOOK LESS BLOATED than when we saw her pre-hospital stay just before she began the “Beautiful Life” by the CW Network. On another note, think that M-K Olsen is/was suffering from the same thing. M-K’s face looks fuller & she is a known partyer; although now she is supposedly trying to cut back drinking/partying and taking up Yoga!

She is pretty and looks good, quite thin. I do wish she didn’t smoke, it’s so bad for you. Still, I’m a fan of hers and will always stick up for her. Considering the sh*t she’s been through, I think she looks very nice.
Eugh, shower girl, and dump those clothes, you should be able to afford better. Or even better, just get a decent stylist and a nutritionist. Or maybe a psychologist.

I think she is a great choice to play a model–who, in the series, is having some difficulties with her career. Models often have wars going on with drugs, food, weight fluctuations, and most of them seem to smoke a lot–kate moss is a prototype.
I think she is battling hard against a lot of demons–she is on an uptick now. In the last six months she has been told she needed to gain some weight, and she needed to lose some weight. She would be fine if she stayed the way she is now. Perfection is not a good goal for her.

I agree with you totally and that’s exactly what I was thinking when she got cast. She is SO freaking ugly and her teeth are disgusting. Yeah make up can do wonders for people, but mischa is a lost cause. Her legs are horrendous and she doesn’t have the look of a “model” whatsoever. Just because she played a rich skinny girl on her OC days doesn’t mean she can do it again…
The bloated face was caused by wisdom teeth surgery…but anyway, she looks better now, and at least she has dressed a bit more fashion-forward.
I have nothing against Mischa, but I had no interest in her as a person or actress. She simply bores me… but I do feel sorry for her, it seems like she has a lot of personal\psychological problems. I still find that sudden and extreme weight loss to be so bizarre. Some drug or crash diet. Hopefully she will eventually be able to find peace with herself.

I think you need to re-think your definition of the word “healthy.” You so often say “thin & healthy” when thin does not automatically = healthy. Case in point, she is SMOKING. That is the very definition of unhealthy.

@ elm932: I couldn’t agree more! Ankle boots only look good when the ankles are covered by pants/jeans. Ankle boots + short skirts/shorts make the wearer look like a fashion victim!

I honestly thought when she was in the OC that she was naturally thin and gorgeous- I was very jealous. But since then she has put on lots of weight and then lost a bit but is still not her OC size- just proving, like Hilary Duff, Jessica Simpson and countless others, that her natural size is bigger than they would like us to believe.
She should quit smoking it’s such a nasty habit but she probably won’t from fear of gaining weight.

People, get over it: Mischa will never look the same as she did during The O.C. For starters, she’s older and her metabolism has naturally slowed down.
I don’t think that she looks healthy at all here. She looks tired and she’s smoking, which is clearly very unhealthy (I’m a smoker and I admit this). Also, she needs to borrow a fraction of Renee Zellwegger’s discipline and hit the gym to tone those thighs.
BTW, does anybody know what she is eating? A cookie and pasta? I’m too curious for my own good.

Love her jacket and Coco bag. Personally she does dress like a model most don’t dress in high fashion when they are hanging out they dress very down and comfortable. They only dress couture going out at night to clubs and stuff.
She probably had a fast metabolism when she was younger, but as you get older, it slows down. When I was younger, I didn’t exercise at all and ate junk food all day, and everyone said I looked anorexic. Now I’m 21, and still thin, but I exercise several hours a day (and walk around campus all day), and only eat healthy, organic foods. So, point of the story.. eventually all that junk you ate when you were younger will start to catch up with you!
