Actress Hilary Swank was spotted jogging around in Santa Monica yesterday afternoon.

She looks pretty toned and healthy – and not quite as thin as she did the last time we saw her. The paparazzi were kind enough to take a zoomed-in photo of the fronts of her thighs, where it appears that she has some cellulite.

That’s just mean, she has a great body.

  2. Rachel | 16/07/10

She looks really good. Slim, toned and fit. As for the cellulite.. err who cares?

  3. Bex | 16/07/10

She looks really good, toned and slim.
Shes a human being, nobody cares about abit of cellulite! :)

  4. Chrissy | 16/07/10

can we say photoshop again? there’s no way that woman has enoguh skin or fat to do that to her leg

  5. sandie | 16/07/10

I’m surprised she looks that bad, wow, her skin is very loose, her legs looks worse than the ones of a 60 year old woman.

  6. Bella E | 16/07/10

Those cellulite shots are totally altered. Shes fit and toned…Looking good.

  7. becky | 16/07/10

that has to be photoshopped. she’s completely slim and smooth in the third picture, and for someone as trim and toned as Hilary, who’s always been that way, she just wouldn’t have that much celulite. Love her healthy attitude, always.

  8. zhnjg | 16/07/10

I think they just caught her in mid stride. Your body shakes upon impact, hence the weird folds on her leg and cellulite-y appearance.

  9. MMH | 16/07/10

She looks in great shape! She doesn’t have that much cellulite; I think it’s just the way the camera caught her leg in mid-air when her skin moved, because you can’t see any in the last 2 pictures.

  10. Claire | 16/07/10

I seriously don´t believe the two pictures are the same legs as on the other two (which seem about right for her body type). I like her body.

  11. christinaberry | 16/07/10

That just looks like a bad angle on the first two pictures. She has great muscle tone, although she’s always looked a bit manly.

  12. Lily | 16/07/10

Of course she has cellulite. I’ve seen size 2 women with cellulite! These photo’s have not been altered.

  13. FP | 16/07/10

that’s PHOTOSHOP baby! that woman is VERY tight!

  14. Lily | 16/07/10

And I’ve also seen overweight women with no cellulite.

  15. morticia | 16/07/10

these are just terribly unflattering photographs….it must really suck to have the paps in you business all the time…i’d simply hate it…so intrusive and often mean…

  16. Ellen | 16/07/10

I don’t get why celebrities always seem to go running or exercising with their hair down.

  17. kate | 16/07/10

Think this just proves how the camera distorts things, especially when a person is in motion, i.e. jogging.

In the one from last pic her left is perfectly smooth and cellulite free while in the pic above it looks dimpled and saggy. Don’t think we can really trust anything we see anymore……..

  18. kate | 16/07/10

    left *leg*

  19. LAUREN | 16/07/10

PHOTOSHOPPED. The other pictures are clearly normal while the close up is obviously NOT her actual leg.

  20. rachel | 16/07/10

How can her legs look so different in each photo? Anyway, at least she’s exercising and taking care of her body…. good for her!

  21. Creepy Doll | 16/07/10

Eww this can’t be real. My 85 years old grandmother had better legs. Honestly, I have never ever seen something disgusting like this. On anyone. In the third picture she looks normal!

  22. stella | 16/07/10

geez, thats not photoshop. it’s just bad light/angle. besides, you don’t have to be super obese to have cellulite, even totally skinny and fit woman can have it if they tend to have weak tissue. but who cares, she still looks good.

  23. meg | 16/07/10

lol I don’t know what to say since the first two pics are soooo much different than the second two. If they’re not photoshopped then that’s just messed up!

  24. NeeNee | 16/07/10

I think that was a bad Photoshop job. In the 1st, 2nd and 4th photo you see wrinkly skin and a TON of cellulite, but in the 3rd her skin look tight and her legs are really toned. I honestly don’t think Swank would allow her legs to look like that with all the resources she has.

  25. Devon | 16/07/10

i also think that this photos are photoshoped. I know, also thin women have cellulite but this? she is toned and slim, a little bit cellulite yes but not this!

  26. Sian | 16/07/10

We’ve seen bikini pics of her and I don’t remember her having ANY cellulite, so I don’t trust those two pics where she’s full of dimples.

  27. nnn | 16/07/10

I’m not sure if these pics are altered or not. Her legs look great in the 3rd pic. Cellulite is so evil!!! ;)

  28. Bella | 16/07/10

In those first two pics, her body seems to be facing slightly differently than her legs. I do think someone PS those legs – they just aren’t matching up.

  29. ash | 16/07/10

Her legs just look odd because they caught her in motion. She’s very fit.

  30. Crina | 16/07/10

i wouldn’t say that much cellulite isn’t possible, but it’s totally obvious that this a BAD fake.

  31. b | 16/07/10

Said it before and will say it again: When you’re running and your leg is swinging back, quad unflexed, it will give anyone such unflattering “cellulite.” Not sure you can really call it cellulite, it’s just tissue and whatever else in motion. 99% of women would have it, I guarantee it.

@ 11% body fat, no visible cellulite on my thighs (even when sitting), when I was a division I cross country runner, I saw a photo of me taken in this position and you would have thought I weighed 200lbs.

  32. Natalie | 16/07/10

photoshopped photos seem to always appear on this site.

  33. jess | 16/07/10

Of course cellulite is possible in thin women too BUT for anyone to believe this is real is ludicrous! Some may want to believe it and feel Hillary is relatable to them in that sense but she could never develop cellulite this bad. She has a nice womanly shape.

  34. sam | 16/07/10

Agree about the photoshopping comments. She looks like Jennifer Garner

  35. Mel | 16/07/10

I like her sneakers and that is it.

  36. moonbel | 16/07/10

She still looks fit and awesome. I like her running shoes. :)

  37. Kirshna | 16/07/10

PEOPLE this is how a toned and fit woman of her age looks…IT IS NOT photoshopped-these high grade lenses catch what the human eye can not…maybe a 20 year old model with a spray tan doesnt have his-but everyone else does….

  38. weni | 16/07/10

OH…wait until some of you get a little older…Have a friend take some video of you running and see what a mid-stride shot looks like. Even on a extrememly fit woman it’s not pretty…Even Bo Dereck had thighs swinging from side to side.

  39. starfire | 16/07/10

It was 100 degrees yesterday. Why would you go running in that heat?

  40. britt | 16/07/10

i’m with everyone else screaming “photoshop!!” look at the first two pictures and then compare them with the last two… not even close. she’s always been in great shape.

  41. Lisa | 16/07/10

That’s the WORST Photoshop job I’ve ever seen!!! Wow, no skill whatsoever. She looks great!

  42. Creepy Doll | 16/07/10

Weni, my mother is 55 and doesn’t have ANY cellulite.
Stop insinuating we “will” all have that. Some of us won’t. Okay?

  43. Katarzyna | 16/07/10

These pics have been totally manipulated. She may have cellulite, but never this much. I do believe she’s an exercise junkie…

  44. so | 16/07/10

    that’s just a bad angle…
that woman as an amazing body.

  45. Karen | 16/07/10

When you run your whole leg moves (obviously!)and the photo has just captured that in motion shot (if you know what I mean?!)

This chick has a great bod – I bet the pap that got her was a fat hairy mess!

  46. glow | 16/07/10

It seems like apple shaped women don’t get cellulite. At least all the apple-shaped women I know & have ever known. It’s because they gain weight like men-all on their upper body.
I’d rather have a bit of cellulite than be an apple.

  47. Alicia | 16/07/10

Firstly, cellulite can happen to anyone. Hilary is in great shape!

  48. araisis | 16/07/10

the photos with the cellulite were definitely altered, the cellulite was photoshopped on. there’s nothing wrong with cellulite, I have it…and so do a lot of people; but she is not one of them, sorry paparazzi.

the sad part is that most people will look at this and think it’s real.

  49. Jade | 16/07/10

I can’t say a thing about the cellulite because don’t 95% of women get it sooner or later? I read this in a magazine today, but I’ve heard a lot of different percentages in the past. So I don’t know, I just know most women get it lol. It must suck being photographed when you are trying to work out.

  50. lulu | 16/07/10

That is mean, just an unflattering angle I think. She looks great in the last two pics! I wish her hair was pulled back though.

  51. harriet | 16/07/10

    definitely doctored.

  52. elenne | 16/07/10

    first ones must be fake?
I think they look vile tbh, and i know it’s wrong, but i’m literally shuddering – pathetic.

  53. Nicole | 16/07/10

it seems unlikely that those top two pictures aren’t photoshopped, but i guess it’s possible she actually looks like. i kind of doubt it though. but whether or not they’re edited, it’s unnecessary for people to publish them…

  54. frizzy | 16/07/10

She hasn’t really made her career out of being a super hot individual anyway. She is a talented actress and she looks good.

  55. Kimberly | 17/07/10

Let’s all insult and put down this clearly fit and healthy Oscar winning actress! Geez, Hilary Swank has been fit and muscular for years…regardless if the photo was photoshopped or not, she has a wonderful and inspiring figure. It’s easy to throw stones from behind your laptop screens…Ease up.

  56. Stephers | 17/07/10

I’m laughing at everyone who doesn’t believe this is PHOTOSHOPPED.
It is so photoshopped beyond belief it’s embarrassing.
We all should know her legs don’t look like that. She would know better not to wear shorts!

  57. jenni | 17/07/10

that looks photoshopped, because she’s completely smooth in the 3rd pictures…

  58. Ash | 17/07/10

Her upper body looks toned!Great! But the cellulite on her thighs don’t look good at all!

  59. justathought | 17/07/10

Wow this woman has some muscle!! I mean look at her arms. Its weird you can only see the cellulite from the front view, is that normal? Idk to me she looks kind of manly, cellulite or not, sorry!

Cellulite seems to be a touchy subject on this site so im not really going to say much except that i actually had cellulite when i was way underweight and its much less noticible now that ive gained. So i guess (at least on my body) cellulite can come at any weight or age (im pretty young!)

  60. sylviasage | 17/07/10

who cares about the cellulite? she looks amazing.

  61. lauraaaaaaaa | 17/07/10

that is not cellulite..that is OBVIOUSLY photoshop… derp

  62. Melyanna | 17/07/10

I think that she is beautiful.

  63. Kianna | 17/07/10

Think that Hilary looks very fit & toned. Not as super skinny as in her 20’s…but still very thin/slim & fit. I also think it’s a combination of the camera angles and her legs in “mid-air” while running. Even saw pics of skinny Tori Spelling in this week’s STAR Magazine (at the top in the back where her legs & butt “adjoin” sort of) where they claim she has celluite yet is @ 92 lbs??? GEES !

  64. Creepy Doll | 17/07/10

    Apple-shaped women? O_o I’m a hourglass

  65. Sara | 17/07/10

I think a lot of people forget or don’t know what cellulite is. It’s basically toxic fat. When we overload ourselves with toxins that our body can’t process fast enough, it’s forced to store it to deal with later. Everything, energy, water, toxins, are stored in our fat, the storage center of our body. You can be perfectly fit and toned but if you eat garbage or a lot of altered foods, like low-calorie fake sugars, this is what happens. The photos are suspicious but even skinny athletes can get cellulite.

  66. Anne | 17/07/10

They do look like different legs – at first I felt reassured that even someone who is so committed to fitness ends up having problems with their legs – but now I just think we cannot trust what we see – if a magazine wants to print an unrealistically flatering image they just use the technology – so we all feel bad about our un-photoshopped reality.

  67. Amy | 17/07/10

Look at how rippled the skin on her upper calf/shin is, she clearly just hit the ground and the impact is making her skin move like that. Clearly you’ve never yourselves run in a mirror.

  68. Rian | 17/07/10

Stephers, I’m glad you are amused, but as I’ve stated many times before, all pics on this site come directly from the paparazzi agencies. If they were to photoshop them, they could be sued. I could also be sued if I altered them. So I don’t. (Why would I? If you look over my posts it is not my style to be so mean). I believe that her thighs look that way probably because she was in mid stride and of course there are ripples when you hit the ground running. She might have a tiny bit of cellulite mixed in. Who knows? :)

  69. Alkistis | 17/07/10

I don’t know if the photos have been photoshopped, but I do know that cellulite is tricky. You can look totally smooth in one specific lighting and full of cellulite in a different lighting.

  70. Helen | 17/07/10

When I saw the 1st 2 photos I was shocked how bad her legs looked, It freaked the crap out me, the legs that is.
And then on the 3rd photo her legs look perfect which is good

  71. josh | 17/07/10

Why is cellulite even considered an insult? And why are people so afraid of it??
This just shows how superficial and stupid some people in our society are.

  72. cucu | 17/07/10

Can we say PHOTOSHOPPED! Please this is crap, This woman is toned beyond believe and has always maintained her body and she is very athletic! I hate this doctored pictures!

  73. tinypaintings | 18/07/10

LOL at anyone who can’t tell that’s not real :)

  74. amy123 | 18/07/10

hillary is in great shape, pic is photo-shopped.

  75. Daniella | 18/07/10

Wow, she has one hard body. Looks like she lifts heavy weights!! That is just dehydrated skin, not cellulite, although I am sure she has some since it is very natural if you are over 23 and producing normal amounts of estrogen.

  76. yo | 18/07/10

i dk many ppl who wouldnt trade for her body, so i’ll leave it at that. she’s beautiful.

  77. sama | 18/07/10

There’s so much difference between the first and third photos! If i was her i’d go jogging in full length bottoms, not shorts, no matter how toned my legs were

  78. sama | 18/07/10

Just to add, that sounded really horrible..what i meant was i know she’s probably really athletic and fit, but on a sunny day like that, and with the paps around, its more than likely they’ll get a cellulite shot like that

  79. Jetta | 18/07/10

I totally agree w/ b: I too have seen stick-thin cross-country runners that, if photographed just at the right moment, would exhibit “cellulite”. It is just a matter of skin and flesh bouncing from the impact of the road. Further proof the paparazzi are human vermin…

  80. Mimi | 18/07/10

    Can we say PHOTOSHOPED!

  81. Lenore | 18/07/10

Everyone has cellulite when they run like that, and it is especially more noticeable when they are in that type of light.

  82. hanan | 18/07/10

    this is sooooooooooo photosopped ,,duhhhhhhhhhhhh
the paparatzy are mean & stupid

  83. Sheridan | 18/07/10

It’s hard to see if she really does have cellulite. To me it just looks like bad timing, she was jogging so her skin would have been moving about, coz in the last pics her legs look great.

  84. Dominique | 19/07/10

I’ve see still photos of olympic track sprinter athletes mid-stride who appear with the same rippling you see. Based on that, most of this IS just a result of impact on the ground. Too many people immediately yell “photoshop”. Photoshop is expensive and time consuming. Who would waste it on paparazzi shot to make someone look worse?

She’s really fit. Fast cameras capture a lot you wouldn’t normally notice with just your eyes. Trust me :)

  85. TallEnglishGirl | 19/07/10

That’s really bad photoshop. You can just tell the picture has been manipulated.

  86. Nina | 19/07/10

I can´t help it but every time i see her i think of Matt Damon. They could be brother and sister…..are they? probably not, anyway I think its just a bad shot and unless you are very lucky and have parents with genes like Gisele Bundchen, what we here see is the reality u dont see in magazines and tv shows -its called seeing REAL PEOPLE without ANY photoshop. yeah so these were my cents

  87. afan | 19/07/10

The paparazzi shot of the cellulite is mean; she looks good. Most people who appear slim have cellulite when they run.

  88. Erin | 19/07/10

My first thought…OMG! Disgusting! My second…this is totally fake. How could her legs look like that in the first pic & look as fab as they do in the second? But wow, that first one is a really freaky looking pic!

  89. Olivia | 19/07/10

whoa, unflattering first photo, but it’s not exactly fair to take a picture MIDAIR when things are all jiggling around. happens to the best of us.

  90. Beckster | 19/07/10

I run and I have cellulite. However, that pic is clearly photoshopped.

  91. Keely | 19/07/10

You can see the copy tool lines and clone brush strokes. Very photoshopped.

  92. hkat | 19/07/10

She looks amazing – great shape – gorgeous arms & legs! I bet my leg looks like that too when I put my entire body weight on it while running -

  93. DogBlissYou | 21/07/10

That cellulite is photoshopped in. Any other time I’ve seen her legs, they’ve been FABULOUS, just like the rest of her athletic body.

I do find it ridiculous she can even go for a RUN without her frigging BlackBerry. That is just insane.

  94. yin | 22/07/10

    ouch

  95. Tracy J | 22/07/10

Gotta go with B. She neither has cellulite or is it photoshopped. It’s just when your body hits the pavement it makes for a very unflattering picture. Anyone ever see that show where they show everything in slow motion. Hit the buffest guy with a stick & his body is going to respond in waves.
