They all look gorgeous and thin and perfect!! Now that I feel totally depressed….
Is it just me or do most of these ladies look rather severe? Their bodies are the equivilant to a square, masculine jaw line. A little harsh looking. There is nothing soft and femanine, except maybe their hair and above the neck….maybe I’m secretly jealous

what i’m saying is exactly what i wrote the first time. thin is not perfect. what IS perfect?-i don’t even believe in that word. but in a world where thinness is obsessed upon my many, “perfect” takes on a more profound meaning.

I agree, these women do look very severe at times, could be the clothing ( or lack of clothing) and all the makeup, if you listen to them talk…a few of them have deep voices…..ie, Adrianna Lima has a very deep voice, but a lot of them have had children so we know they are not men ( or hopefully they had children and didn’t just lie about it, cause that would just be wrong)I am joking of course, or maybe I jus had too much wine
And what in the world is going on with the ” sexy clown” lingerie? Gross…
For me, there definitely is an upside to these pictures. At least I don’t have to wear uncomfortable lingerie to look silly in the bedroom. *note to my undertaker: Don’t you dare put this on me after I’m gone!*
Oh lord, re: that first picture. I really HOPE that’s just a shadow and not pee as noticed by Araisis. . .
I think all these girls are so pretty! If only I was 6 feet tall and 30 pounds lighter I would so try out to be a VS Angel!
And Araisis: Candace obviously didn’t pee her self…serioulsy…it’s just a shadow because it’s satin.

I somehow doubt they’d let her walk the runway if she really had peed… it might be sweat, or it might be a shadow because of the material, as others have said.

What a complete farce. You can’t even see the actual product. Is this a circus or an actual runway show?
Omg! I didn’t even notice the pee shadow until I read it in the comment! That is too crazy! I was thinking how beautiful she looked, and then I saw that! Whoa. Don’t know what to think…but they all look great physically in my opinion. But I guess you’re right though, even through all of their thin-ness they have the same body basically.
With all seriousness, I never really saw what they are trying to sell…I mean, where’s the product? Everything looks like a costume. Is it just a “SHOW” with costumes? I don’t get it.
@size-2, that’s a good question. I believe there is an unconscious message to us that if we buy their stuff, we might be able to look like these gorgeous, ‘perfect’ women. That’s why beautiful skinny women are used in so many ads for different things. Victoria’s Secret has it down to a science. Part of us believes that if we buy the product, we will become like them.
At the same time, I think Victoria’s Secret is also based on art. I mean, who would wear pretty much anything that comes off that runway? It’s art and beauty. Definitely appreciative so long as we know we don’t have to look like that to be useful, wonderful people.
